I honestly can't believe that people still do this.

You peer northwest and see ...

[Depths of V'Tull, Lower Eye]
You notice a fire mage, an ominous cloud, a gnarled black staff, a gnarled black staff, a fire mage (dead), a fire mage and the icy blue Zaaak disk.
Also here: a stunned Lord Zaaak (prone)
Obvious exits: southeast, southwest, northwest

Your spellsong is ready.

Zaaak just left.

The icy blue Zaaak disk goes off in search of its master.
>
* Jennafire just bit the dust!
>
The ground begins to shake violently, making it hard to stand.
You lose your balance and fall over.
>
The air heats up as a fire sprite comes whirling in, spitting flames in every direction!
>
A fire mage leaves a trail of fire in the air while gesturing at you!
The ground beneath your feet begins to boil violently!
Fiery debris explodes from the ground!
A swirling sonic barrier is overwhelmed by the onslaught of the impact attack.
... 30 points of damage!
Hard blow to your neck loosens head on shoulders.
Quite fatal!
The silvery luminescence fades from around you.
The bright luminescence fades from around you.
Your SIGN OF SHIELDS is no longer effective.
You no longer feel so dextrous.
Your sonic barrier dissipates.
You feel your extra strength departing.
A faint silvery glow fades from around you.
Your sonic shield dissipates.
The air about you stops shimmering.
You feel less confident than before.
The glowing specks of energy surrounding you suddenly shoot off in all directions, then quickly fade away.
The brilliant luminescence fades from around you.
Like a faint wisp of a barely-remembered dream, your brief, enhanced comprehension of arcane mysteries slips away.
Your SIGN OF WARDING is no longer effective.
Your SIGN OF DEFLECTION is no longer effective.
You become solid again.
Your SIGN OF DEFENDING is no longer effective.

It seems you have died, my friend. Although you cannot do anything, you are keenly aware of what is going on around you...

You mentally give a sigh of relief as you remember that the Goddess Lorminstra owes you a favor.

...departing in 10 mins...
The ground then quickly cools.

The fire mage raises her hands in exultation!

Go go gadget mechanic abuse!

Simutronics had plenty of opportunities to fix this with what every other game out there has.. a 10-20 second log out lag. They decided they didn't want it for their game.. so I'm not sure we can actually classify it as mechanic abuse since Simutronics almost promotes it as one of their features.

yes, it does. but in the cast of 'incant 1030' it only targets one mage. i wanted to wipe them all out.

I would've gone for "Drag zaa se".

Or if not that, why not song of peace? When playing hero, aim for the largest effect in the shortest time. I've seen 1030 kill so many people already. Not that it isn't a bitch move to log out.

That's because the original owner (who I will not name) never used/trained Arasleaf to hunt, only to purify.
