To answer the question, he isn't an ex-lover. He's this guy I knew in college that started out as a nice friend and wound up being a fucking weirdo. I looked up his profile on AOL the other night out of curiosity and found this totally henious picture and decided to share.

Why did he turn into a weirdo? Well, he was always a little "off," like when I first started dating Jake (my husband) he wrote me this whole long letter about what a great guy HE was. That was pretty much it. So I just kind of ignored it in a nice way and continued being friends with him. That summer, he had a girlfriend in Denver and Jake was living in Aspen with his mom for the summer, so we drove out together and he dropped me off on his way. He was living in Phoenix (like 2 hours from Flagstaff) so when we got back to Flag at like 2am on the trip back he asked if he could crash on my couch for a few hours. "Of course," I said. I woke up at 8am with him IN MY ROOM sitting at my computer desk just tapping away... like... he lived there or something. The door was shut!

Anyway, that creeped me out in a major way, not to mention some other weird shit he did. We ceased being friends, even the cautious kind.

Thus ends the tale.
