OMG Eddy Guerrero just won the Smackdown Royal Rumble about an hour ago, getting a WWE HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE SHOT at No Way Out against Brock Lesnar. IT'S! GONNA! BE! AWESOME! I hope you guys watched it, the Rumble was awesome, there were like 20 near-toss-overs, and Bradshaw took the sickest bump. Ok, back to whatever you were doing.

I'm sorry, but wrestling has gone down the shitter. I used to be a huge wrestling fan, and probably still have it in me, but I could not stand the direction WWE has taken.

RVD is much more awesome than Ric Flair. ECW > WCW.

Which is complete and utter bullshit. If he had more appeal, you bet he'd still be in for the WWE title from Triple H's played out game. But they don't let him do a move that won him over fans in ECW. Anyone know where Kid Kash went to? He was pretty damn cool, too. He reminded me of Mysterio alot.
ECW characters have no showmanship.
They're a bunch of wignecks who'll take a flaming steel hair to the face for a buck.

If there's one thing that RVD is not hurting for, it's moves that win the crowd over. Did you see his ladder match with Christian? Insane. The man is certifiably insane. Kid Kash is probably in OVW wrestling with Maven or NWA wrestling Jeff Jarrett (those sux0rs).

Stone Cold Steve Austin as well, to that list.

Kid Kash was one of my favorite ECW guys. My crowning event moments I'd seen live were 2 things. 1, I was behind New Jack when he lept off and broke his leg at the Rave in Milwaukee. Witnessing a "Penile Implant" from Simon Diamond's right hand man Big Dick on Jazz (who sucks).
This is extreme.

I'll mark for Brock Lesnar doing a Shooting Star Press or Mick Foley falling through the cage and the canvas any day. Benoit going off the top of the cage too. And if Sting would come back to TV people would stop asking me if I was Marilyn Manson when I put the paint on. Stupid people! I'm Sting! No not the singer! ::bat to the head::
p.s. Joel Gertner is worse than Tony Schiavone. By far.

Right before ECW folded, Kid Kash did this awesome modified piledriver, I forgot it's name, but it kicked major ass. The only other move that topped that was when Rhino piledrove Credible from the top rope.

Yes, definitly. When ECW was at its peak when they had Dreamer, Sandman, RVD, The Franchise Shane Douglass, the Dudley Boys, Raven, I could go on forever. They were at Viking Hall in Philly me and my friends used to always go down in like 9th grade. Good times.
ECW definitly > WWF/WCW

Rey did a (and I doubt this is the official name) reverse slingshot Ultimo-bomb sunset flip on Noble on Smackdown. It was awesome. He did it like a year ago, too. Good stuff.

First time Mysterio and Ultimo Dragon contested since merge, Mysterio hit a reverse hurracarana after Ultimo jumped from the top rope to start it. I about fountained Dr. Pepper. Awesome to no ends.

Yea (yay) verily. It's a pile of ca-ca now. I miss the old NWO days of WCW.
On another note, I'm surprised Scott Hall is still alive and his liver hasn't exploded yet.

LMAO I thought I was the only one who remembered him as the scrubby 1-2-3 Kid. Sometimes the shift in images is a bit too much.
I felt (feel) that way about Stone Cold Steve Austin, too. It worked for him and he was very popular..but I never liked him and to me he'll always be Stunning Steve Austin with the blonde hair.

Did I say anything about him having a bigger draw than Hogan? Or anything about him being a legend? No.

No. Well, when you insist that a group that consists of Hogan, the Outsiders, and Syxx (plus all the other jobbers, I'm looking at you Stevie Ray) could do without Hogan, it seems a bit of a stretch, wouldn't you agree?

Hey, you're the one who mentioned Hogan's ego. That loser just pushed his way into something that he realized was taking off. It was the Outsiders who invaded WCW and started the whole nWo. Hall, Nash, Syxx have been close friends for a long time. Hogan's career would've been dead without a heel turn. So yes, I do not consider Hogan part of the original nWo.

Alright, to get this thread going again... Why is it that no one was in an uproar when WCW highlighted a Nitro with vignettes of Scott Hall and Kevin Nash drinking bottles of cough syrup? Promoting the use of DXM, an over the counter PCP-like high? Not that I'm against it, I just don't understand why it was ignored.
