So, I decided to sign my little wizard up for GOS. This happened on my first camp run.
You intone a phrase of elemental power while raising your hands, invoking Cone of Lightning...
Your spell is ready.
You gesture at a Grimswarm giant ranger.
All of a sudden, a Grimswarm giant warrior rolls hard to her side, and then leaps to her feet!
You hurl a powerful lightning bolt at a Grimswarm giant warrior!
AS: +268 vs DS: +147 with AvD: +48 + d100 roll: +94 = +263
... and hit for 118 points of damage!
Massive electrical shock to back. Won't be bending over for awhile.
You hurl a powerful lightning bolt at a Grimswarm giant ranger!
AS: +268 vs DS: +93 with AvD: +41 + d100 roll: +67 = +283
... and hit for 110 points of damage!
Hideously bright electrical bolt sends right hand into another universe. Happy traveling.
