View Full Version : Ivory Jester Figurine

Crafted of disjointed ivory, the figurine is attired in a wild collection of mismatched hues patched together in a diamond pattern. Bells of all shape and size dangle from the points of his vest, hat, shoes, and wide gold earrings, while his narrow hands loosely cradle a trio of clear glass orbs. Though his face is gaunt, a wide grin is painted across it, and he has cheerful sea green eyes.

Perigee is unable to access the PC for whatever reason, but she asked me to post that the figurine has been sold on BO and to thank everyone for their interest.

Jesus christ, what was the buyout?

Sweet . . . second mini i've missed getting to bid a buyout price on because I didn't know what the buyout was until after the buyout had been bid.
Oh well, at least on this auction I hadn't spent 10 days asking what the buyout price was without being told . . .
And didn't have to watch my going twice bid not win because the auction wasn't updated for 2 days, and a see a higher bid post the day after my bid should have won if the auction had been updated.
Maybe I'll just stick to Bemm Modified Mini's, and skip the standard ones for a while.

Unmarked buyouts is how the PC rolls. If you want it super duper bad, you offer obscene amounts of something, before someone else does.
Also, these guys are modified. Very nice attack/death/miss messaging. And stats slightly above normal, though some of them seem very defensive.

I feel like I'm missing out. Are battle mini's really awesome? I've never actually seen any in action. LOGZ PLZ
they fight each other, gaining experience as they do so they can become better. When you get them altered you alter their appearance, but also their attacks. They're really really neat.

Hrm. Maybe I should get my hands on a set.

Easier said then done sadly. Those released that people are currently selling from EG are the latest sets to come into the lands in 6 months at least. The last set to be released was a raffled set of dwarven miniatures.
Currently Voraviel is the only GM that can come in and work on miniatures as a merchant. His most common and original merchant is Bemm. There was an elven merchant but I currently don't remember the name. I prefer having my own made though as you can build a set to your desires.

I've asked a few different merchants, and been told they could alter the appearance of a miniature but not the battle actions.

nor can they adjust their stats as Voraviel's merchants can

So it's like GS Pokemon?

Anyone know how to check to see if something is a mini beyond raising it.
I have come across all kinds of figurines that I thought might be one, and figured out it wasn't in some way or another.
But recently found a figurine which I can't tell one way or the other. It is altered quite a bit, can't be inspected and bard song tells me nothing.
What happens if someone raises a figurine, puts it in a container and hands it to someone else? Is it locked?

They temporarily attune when raised. If someone else raises it, it attunes to them. It's to keep it so only the owner can pick it up, and issue orders during a battle. Go ahead and raise it.

you can take that miniature out of the container but if you drop it, you will need the original person that raised it last to pick it up. I've seen that problem several times in the past. I suggest what I usually do, when you take out a miniature to fight always raise it.
There is no way to check its stats other then battling other known skilled miniatures. There are 3 stats a miniature will have. Attack, Dodge, and Hit Points. These are static unless Voraviel raises them, which he can do while merchanting.
Your miniature will grow more skilled the more it wins. There is no penalty for losing. The best way to see if its a Siegery Miniature is to raise it, if it attunes then yes it is.
There are 3 levels of Siegery Miniatures.
Stock miniatures, which are bought off the shelf.
Customized or Altered Miniatures which Voraviel worked on. Their appearance, their attack, miss, and death are altered. And he will normally boost 2 of the 3 stats, or 1 twice on request.
S-Class Miniatures. These were prizes on the Dhu Gillywack for those that won Bemm's tournaments. The winners received a full set of customized minis along with all their stats boosted twice. I know of the existence of at least 4 sets that were designed. The last I knew only 2 are still in game.

Yarx still has his set. I still have both my Bemm one and Withywind version.
