I need a good domain to set up this site for my future MHO. Other than godaddy please! What do you suggest?

I use https://www.domaindiscover.com but let's be honest, I know shit about hosting.

I purchased my domain from Google.

I host my site elsewhere.

GoDaddy.

Other than godaddy please!

Although I'm not sure why Godaddy is bad. I've never had trouble with them.

www.bluehost.com

They used to have really shit service and great prices. Now they have great prices and really reliable services, if you can help yourself with most of your issues. Lots of built in applets that you can add into any site you make.

www.logjamming.com

Small time business. Great if you want really good help on anything in their shell. They're willing to take the time and help you out. Very reliable. Also very affordable.

I know, I keep telling her GoDaddy but she won't listen.

So I keep saying it.

never get your hosting and your domain from the same place.

Often the host will list themselves as the owner and then if you ever want to transfer there will be pain. It is a hassle you do not want to deal with.

GoDaddy doesn't do that but she won't use them.

I agree, GoDaddy is the man.

Bluehost and Logjamming don't list themselves as the owner either.

Edit:

Woops, nevermind. Look at that. Client Transfer Prohibited. Fuckers.

I been with GoDaddy since 2006. Never had an issue at all. I hear they are difficult if you want to change hosting down the road, but eh, whatever.
