OMG I'm sitting in MY pub drinking Smithwick's, flirting with my favorite bartender. She is sexy in every way, could not be more sexy....she just put on some eyeglasses. I'm having visions of a naughty hot school teacher bent over a desk. Please help me.

Yes.

OMG yes.

So much win, it's dripping. I'll leave it up to your imagination to determine what 'it' is.

The Baroness was the first for me. From GI Joe? When I was a little girl, I had to get glasses when I was only seven. So embarrassed. But then I saw the Baroness and I was like, "Wow. She's beautiful. And she wears glasses!"

I would never dream of trying to pull off a stretchy black vinyl catsuit buuuuut.. because of the Baroness, I never wear contacts except for when doing sports or in martial arts.

Yeah, i've been wearing glasses for distance since I was probably around 12. I tried contacts at 13 or 14, even got EXTRA cool blue ones, but it was a waste because I only needed them for the movies and shit (and I hated putting them in and taking them out). I love my glasses now, and I wear them probably too often.

Had to get glasses at a young age (5) crew checking in.

I can't physically put a contact in my eye. I've always had trouble doing it. I had contacts for a year until one split while I was wearing it and had to go to the ER to have it removed. They said it was a rare defect that the contact must have had a microscopic tear that eventually just tore apart as I was blinking. Plus it took me like 15 minutes to get them in.

So I hope I do my glasses justice! But I gotta be honest, I'd love to wake up and just be able to see, or be able to look around a room without moving my head to see in areas that my lens don't cover (designer eyewear ftl).

I've had plenty of contacts rip in my eye, sucks you had to go to the ER, I just pull it out, run home, and get a new pair.
First time putting contacts in, took me about 10 mins, ever since, I pop them in, like it's nothing.
I really enjoy contacts over glasses for myself.

Well due to my right eye, I didn't wear soft contacts, they were hard, to help my eye's shape. When it split, it went to the back of my eyeball and was cutting into my eye. I'm sure soft contacts are a whole other ball park.

Soft contacts are much easier to wear. I think from what I remember when I first got contacts that the hard contacts are for people with worse eyesight, or for the whole keeping an eye from changing shape.

Yea, we have a family history of Keratoconus. While I haven't been diagnosed to having it, I have all the symptoms but thr actual eye turning more like a football (instead of being round). Glare is a real bitch to deal with, as is driving at night.

Hurray for turning sexy eyewear thread into eye problems!

I wore soft lenses and it still took me forever to put them in. They were uncomfortable and I never really got used to them, and I would never wear them again. But I feel you... i'd also love to wake up and just be able to see distances clearly... i'd love to be able to drive at night without wearing glasses, which cause a nasty glare and halos. One day i'll get laser corrections done, when i've got the money to do so.

When I worked in the public I'd wear contacts almost all the time. Now unless I'm going out I don't bother because I'm lazy and don't give a shit. :)

I think they can be really sexy too depending the person isn't a troll to start with.

I can't imagine my boyfriend without glasses. That moment of blindness when they come off is incredibly cute too. Blink blink...wtf. I wear both glasses and contacts and really have no preference for myself, but yes, hotness on guys.

Glasses FTW.

I have perfect vision of course... But the mrs. wears glasses/contacts. Contacts while at work, glasses at home. Yay for home!

I could never stick shit in my eyes, so if I had to have vision assistance - it would be glasses.

I don't need glasses... but god damn are they sexy if a chick knows how to wear them (confidence).

It depends on the person, and the style of glasses.

I've had to wear glasses since I was 10. They were coke bottles with pink plastic rims. We were poor and only could afford the shittiest of glasses. I was mortified. In 7th grade I convinced my mom to spend 400 bucks on green colored contact lenses. Stupid. They looked like I had cataracts on my brown eyes and they hurt like hell.

By 8th grade I forced myself to get past the pain and get used to wearing clear ones. I never looked back. I can drop those fuckers in the dirt, clean them off with some spit and pop them back in my eye, sans mirror and be on my way. (Which I DON'T recommend)

If I get a moment I'll try to take a pic with my glasses on and post it. I like them and they look well enough but due to my childhood trauma of feeling like a fucking moron in my pink coke glasses, I'm still self consious about them.

Honestly, even if I hated my glasses, I would still wear them. Too lazy for contacts. Good thing I look good in 'em.

I'm like Shari. I had to wear glasses for most of my little girl life and it fucking sucked. I had wire frames but I still looked awkward and all that and I hated it. Then, I finally got contacts and never looked back. I am currently legally blind without corrective lenses-- my depth perception turns to shit and anything more than two inches in front of my face is a blobby, shapeless blur of colors. I can hardly walk without contacts or glasses, let alone do much else.

I wear glasses occasionally now but only on the days I switch out contacts (I have monthly contacts). They have grown on me slightly.

My boyfriend has perfect eye sight but is very color blind. Green and red look the same to him and most colors that are not bright and very primary/pure look like gray to him. I torment him a little about it (i.e. I can convince him purple is blue and that pink is actually white) but not too much.

Make sure you are giving the camera a slight side long glance and peering just over the top of the rims......

Edit: and of course being naked helps.

You know. Soemthing I've wondered how people got by when their eyesight went to shit. I can't imagine that everyone could afford glasses.

I've worn contacts in my eyes for up to a year without removing them. I usually change them out every months. Never had any problems. When I run out of them and don't remeber to get more(rare), I just readjust to being blind. I just don't like how I look wearing glasses.

I need lasers to fix my eyes.

I've actually wondered that too. Not being blind is a top priority for me though, If I had to live on ramen for two months to make sure I could see decently, I'd do so. For the most part though, my contacts and glasses are pretty affordable. I pay about 400 every year for eye care costs.

Its easy. For the past few months I haven't had contacts/glasses. At first it sucked, but it became normal. I don't miss the seeing ability I had before.

It just becomes natural as if thats how you are supposed to see, you don't even notice a difference.

If your eyesight isn't that horribly bad to begin with, sure, you can get used to it.

If you're legally blind without corrective lenses, then haha, no, you're not gonna just "adjust". You can't fucking walk, let alone drive or function.

I couldn't read a chalkboard before I started wearing glasses, which is kind of important as a student. Not wearing them = academic failure.

I wear glasses and usually stick with the same styles (smaller wire rims, oval shaped, clear lenses). I also have prescription sunglasses because it's so much easier than having the little clip ons which I can't stand.

I tried contacts and they used to burn my eyes when I'd put them in. I have a feeling it was the contact solution, but it still made me shy away from them because they hurt like hell every time I'd wear them.

Now that I have a daughter, she's in a very grabby stage and my glasses keep getting ripped off my face by her (and then usually put right in her mouth). It's cute and annoying and scary all at the same time. I think it's cute she is grabbing them but I am always worried she will either hurt me or hurt herself when she does it.

She makes me want to go back to contacts lol.

Glasses are okay but I've definitely gotten poked in the eye with the corner of someone's frames in the heat of the moment many many times.

It's a dangerous job.

I started out wearing contacts primarily because I play sports year round and it's less of an inconvenience to swap them out constantly. When my last prescription ran out I started wearing my back up pair of glasses everyday. The only thing that really sucks is the glare from night driving, which is when I need them the most. Although I prefer contacts anything that allows me to see clearly is full of win.

On topic, I think glasses are sexy on an attractive woman, especially when that's all she's weaing.
