I'm jealous of people who can make their own ringtones. Verizon sucks like that. :(

Don't you just need the file in a usable format for you to have customized ringtones?

Some services protect their phone so you can't use a ringtone unless you bought it from them. Like mine..

I can almost guarantee you'll find it there. Not sure about the format you need, but they seem pretty good about tailoring the ringtone to your particular phone/carrier if the service is available.

The clip is non-downloadable.. which also means I can't upload it.

Can anyone tell me how exactly to put a ringtone on a Blackberry? I'm retarded and can't figure it out.

Is it literally the task of making one, EMailing it to yourself, and downloading it?

BBs can play MP3s as a ringtone. Install the software that came with your phone and then if you're using windows, plug in your phone via USB to your computer, open the device, copy/paste MP3 in the ringtone folder.

I make all my own ringtones, but I also have a phone that uses Windows Mobile.
