My problem is not that I was killed. If I had been killed as a valid roleplay choice, I would have accepted and probably even welcomed it (Liede probably deserves what's coming to her most of the time.) I was under ten, so the death was meaningless. My problem is that she acts like a fucking lunatic "rolling my eyes back towards me" (a lame joke OOC as it is, and just totally bizarre IC) and when I call her out for ACTING like a lunatic, she just resorts to blasting me. Who needs meaningful social interaction when your imaginary number is way higher than mine?

My second day playing someone rolled his eyes and I "act runs after whoever's eyes and snatches them up." Someone whispered to me that I was behaving a bit too OOC. I don't think I used the act verb again for at least a year. When I first started reading this post, I was giving her the benefit of the doubt, thinking that perhaps she was new and didn't know better yet, but it looks like that's not the case. The attack was just totally uncalled for, if that's all the interaction entailed.

Taking something from the boards (i.e. out-of-character environment) into the game (i.e. in-character environment) as a means of assessing how you will act to that player in-game, is out-of-character. Your character having an encounter with that other character and then RPing their justification for the players feelings, is in-character.

Personally, I could care less how people do it. It makes me laugh when people are RP nazis and then take stuff from the boards into game.

I have a problem with people who can't understand simple concepts.

I laughed at his RP. I dont care how he plays his game. I no longer play it.
He then took umbrage at that, said I had no idea what his orange list was and that it wasn't what I thought it was (a highlight list).

Turns out, it was a highlight list and he was using an OOC medium to inform his IC interactions with a player...which is what I laughed at from the start.

Again, I dont care one way or another if he does it...I'm laughing at the supreme RP he was demonstrating.

My problem is not that I was killed. If I had been killed as a valid roleplay choice, I would have accepted and probably even welcomed it (Liede probably deserves what's coming to her most of the time.) I was under ten, so the death was meaningless. My problem is that she acts like a fucking lunatic "rolling my eyes back towards me" (a lame joke OOC as it is, and just totally bizarre IC) and when I call her out for ACTING like a lunatic, she just resorts to blasting me. Who needs meaningful social interaction when your imaginary number is way higher than mine?

Haha, yeah I'm sort of OCD about that. My friends' colors are even done by shade so I don't forget just how chummy to act around them.

I generally try to keep every name in GS color coded by race/gender. Makes it easier for me to walk in and instantaneously figure out how much I hate everyone there, and subsequently the world as a whole for having the miss fortune to stumble into a room full of idiots and neanderthals.

Its funny thinking about it now, as in how many people think I've a personally grudge against them IG, when its actually just a matter of their character being non-dark elf, non-faendryl. I <3 playing a racist/elitist.
