The pay is shit but who gives a shit! It's the superbowl baby!

I'm sure these jobs are going to fill up fast.

Plus I know I a guy who is paying $7 for every ticket stub you can gather up... this would be a great opportunity.

...You uh...realize that most Superbowl staff doesn't get to watch the game right? You'll be making sure the hot dogs don't burn while Ben's throwing the winning touchdown.

I send out apps every day. Onurb's brother might have some steady handy/remodeling work in the bay area.

Almost got to go work for him today but he needed a 20 foot ladder and mine was only 16 foot.

I'm constantly applying and sending out apps as usual.

Just got this reply this morning :(

Thank you for your response to the job posting. I am sorry however the position is no longer available.

I would definitely say that your resume is okay enough though, and I am sure you will find a job somewhere if you get your resume out to enough places.

You gotta be fast on these job listings. They get like an average of 51 responses within hours from one article I read.

It's a pain in the ass but your best bet is, if you've got the time, to tailor your resume to each job you're applying for. I've got three standard formats for mine one show casing management skills, one for technical skills, and the other is a slight hybrid. Makes it faster for me to tweak it per position.

If you need to borrow a ladder, I have one of every size. I live over on the west side of Tampa... and you'll need a truck with a ladder rack to carry my 24'

Yeah I've already done that. And I've got tailored letters of recommendation hehehe.

VP of the company I worked at for all those years gave me permission to change it to whatever suits my needs and he'll just agree with it when they call him.

I just have to remember to email him the updated resumes and letters.

So will they let you sleep at the stadium until the Super Bowl?

*And will they let you work in flip-flops?

Fuck that shit I'm staying here FORREEEVVVVER or until the police make me leave which ever comes first.

She's welcome to leave whenever however.

No honestly we're having a truce right now. I think once financially things get better she'll ease up and she's most likely going up to her mother's for a month or two to visit which will give us some space.

I think after 13 years together and especially during hard times people might have an excuse to get pissy at one another. I just ignore her now.

And I blew out my flip flop... again. Down to two pairs of skechers brown work type shoes and my reeboks.

I'm going to Ray Jay to collect stubs anyways might as well try to get paid while doing it.

Lol no. A vacation will do us some good. The tourists just haven't shown up this year and the motel is slow as shit and her bartending job is dead as fuck.

She's going to go do banquets and spend time with her parents for a couple months. Be good for both of us.

Get pissy?

You mean destroy your property, hide your stuff, and verbally abuse you in front of the kids.. that is if she hasn't taken off to a place you don't know without telling you first and the kids are in tow?

Warning: about to go on Dr. Phil-like rant. You know I <3 you Sean, but man.

It's easy to get along when things are going great. But your relationship and true nature comes into full light when there is a lot of pressure and crisis going on around you. How you weather a storm as a couple is a greater indication of what's going on and what problems there are then how you get through the easy times.

I don't get how people like you *tolerate* the kind of bullshit you do from a so-called significant other. Maybe it's because I've always dated the kind of men who would kick my ass to the curb in a heartbeat if I ever disrespected them the way your "wife" does you.. but, they're also the type of men to treat me with that same respect they demand. My relationship isn't perfect by any means but at least it's stable, loving and respectful.

If you think you're staying together for your kids, you are deluding yourself. You stay with her and in that relationship that makes you miserable because you can't get the nerve to finally end it, draw a line in the sand, and stick to your guns. Staying with her in such an abusive environment fucks over your children more than anyone else involved, and that's what makes the whole business really sad. Truce? You mean until she gets "pissy" over something retarded and WWIII starts up again with your daughters as part of the weaponry arsenal.

You're running in circles, but you're only doing so because you allow it to happen. Shit happens, not everything in life pans out the way we hope. You gotta get the courage somewhere to just move the fuck on though.

When I get back on my feet financially I'll consider all previous options. It's just not a fucking option to beat the streets with no money or job during the winter.

Let her go freeze her ass off in TN for two months while I figure something out.

Best thing I can think of atm with no other options.
