Zogby.com:
(252 vs. 252) - with Virginia & Pennsylvania being the swing states to decide where the other 13 & 21 votes go.
Electoral-Vote.com:
Down, but last I saw had Kerry in the 280's or 290's.
Drudge (National Election Pool):
Kerry leading
MI 51-48
WI 52-48
PA 60-40
OH 52-48
FL 51-48
MI 51-47
NM 50-48
MN 58-40
NH 57-41
Bush leading
AZ 45-55
CO 48-51
LA 42-57
Tie
IOWA 49-49
Still way too early to call. But scary as shit that Virginia (Republican state for 40 years) might be a swing state.

I was at electoral-vote.com earlier, and it's changed from last you saw it. It was back to 262 Kerry, 261 Bush or something close to that.

Good, because it didn't seem right - as close as people are calling it.

Yeah, I think the Nader will definately be a factor for college age kids in the states where he's on the ballot.

I hope Virginia goes Democrat. That's neat.
Then again, I come from a state where the governor was elected a Republican, then became a Democrat. At least according to my mom, I haven't been able to corroborate this statement. I'm too lazy.

High school students don't matter, as they obviously know nothing of politics.

I (PA) had Bush, Kerry, Badnarik, Cobb, and Peroutka.
Most seniors in HS know just as much as freshman/sophomores in college.

I actually had Nader on mine too since my absentee was sent before he was taken off the ballot but not many people got it like that.
Word here on capitol hill is Kerry is leading exit polls.

I wonder how they work that. Would they convert that ballot to a write-in for Nader or just throw it away? (well, it's thrown away either way, but I mean literally.)
New Jersey has 9 on the ballot.
1 dem
1 repub
7 independants
Kerry
Bush
Auken (Socialist Equality Party)
Cobb (Green Party)
Peroutka (Constitutional Party)
Badnarik (Libertarian Party)
Nader
Calero (Socialist Workers Party)
Brown (Socialist Party USA)

According to exit polls from around noon (which are pretty much useless) Kerry is up by 1% in both Ohio and Florida.
This was on Drudge -
17:12:21 ET // UPDATE: Exit poll mania spread through media and campaign circles Tuesday evening after exit data from big media sources claimed Kerry competitive in key states.... FL Kerry +1 PA Kerry+2-4 OH Kerry+1 WI Kerry+4 MI Kerry+2 NH Kerry +4 // [But early 2000 exit polls showed Gore +3 in Florida; showed Gore-Bush even in CO [Bush won by 9], 2000 exits showed Gore +4 in AZ [Bush won by 6]... Developing...
Just heard it looks like Kerry is taking Florida and Ohio. This is an official rumor.
Bah, Hulk beat me to it. I can’t link a source as its word of mouth inside the beltway.

I had 7 candidates listed. It's ashame I never even heard of 3 of them before. I'd love for all of them to actually have some kind of chance at the race... maybe Dems and Repubs would put up more worthwhile candidates.
