Got a 10th level rogue who needs to upgrade edged weapon, shield and armor. Im thinking vultite and 4x leathers.

Does anyone have something like that for sale?

Get scarabs on all your gear.

Ok, two questions...What will that do for me, and how do you do that?

It won't do anything for you, and you do that by buying stuff that has a scarab in the description.

Every rogue and his mother has scarab looking shit, it's boring and doesn't even look that good. Just go for dark/shadowy items that have a description you like.

Define irony.

That short sword Askip has for sale here in the forums is awesome for a rogue, especially if you use two of them. They flare really often, are great for RP because they're knives but swing like swords, swing really quick with two weapon combat and especially quickstrike. Plus, they're unique. There aren't a lot of items like them left. You can't call something a knife anymore and have it really be a sword, so you can't even acquire them via alters of other stuff.

Here's the link if you're interested:

Not necessarily true.

To go against my own nature on this one, if you really -do- want to do the whole "omg, I'm so shadowy, you're likely to be eaten by a grue just by looking at me" look, you can take some pretty basic (or ugly) stuff and dye them at the dyer's tent to make some shadowy black (or ugly) stuff. You can probably find cheap 4x doubles on playershops if you don't care that they're anymore than "some double leather," which you can then dye to suit you.

Me? Laphrael's a rogue that wears a lot of whites, purples, reds, and blues. With fur. The only thing shadowy black is her rogue's guild pin, and that's only because there were no other color options.

How do you buy stuff from the players shop website?

Ok, I'm looking at the players shops websites and see where it tells you what city the shop is in. I've noticed that some items say it imparts a +20 bonus more than usual Is that more than Vultite, or is vultite just a +20?

You locate the shop on the map, go to it and like any other shop such as the pawnshop, take money or a note, locate the item you want and buy it. Playershops is just a listing service, and a mighty fucking fine one at that. As to the other, that is indeed telling you the enchant of the item. Over normal means over plain, non-enchanted gear.

Thank you!! That helps a ton. Otherwise I'd think it was +40!

Rocktar is a locksmith and looks a lot more like a ranger than anything else, though he doesn't use a bow. I have thought about making that change though...
