I accidently fixskill confirmed BEFORE I applied changes in my goals. I had it all set up, just did it in the wrong order. I assisted, but no GM's tonight. Any chance that I'll get help?!!?

I think you might be screwed. The GMs might be able to check your log and see if you burned it without actually making any changes. I wouldn't put money on it though.

How long does it take to get a referral answered? I've been on for probably ~8 hours and still no response. I keep bouncing around in line, now i'm up to 6th.

Depends on the GMs available.
That said, they'll probably say they can't do anything because there's that huge goddamn warning that goes 'OMFG CHECK UR SHIT" before you fixskill confirm.
If you have 8m you can get a fixskill potion off someone though.

Sometimes referrals get answered right away, sometimes they take forever (like weeks). It depends who's around and how much of a douche they are.
Btw if Emeradan answers the referral, ask for someone else. Try writing feedback too. They're a lot cooler than the in-game GMs.

The FIXSKILLS command will allow you to instantly set your skills to match your goals. Use the GOALS command to set your skills to your desired values FIRST!
You may view FIXSKILLS HELP for more information on this option.
To use FIXSKILLS, you must type FIXSKILL CONFIRM within the next 30 seconds.
*** No additional options will be granted outside of normal parameters for misuse. ***
** Make sure your skills are set how you want them with GOALS before using FIXSKILLS CONFIRM ** <--------- This part is in super-neon-dayglo yellow.
I'll save you time and tell you the GMs will say 'too bad, so sad'. They might try to brighten your day by telling you about the yearly one in may though.

Well I don't think I am going to be able to even talk to a GM anyway. My position in the referral queue is always 5-7 and it never moves, even if there are GMs on. I was number 6 Friday night for like 3 hours, with 2 GMs on.

Write to feedback. That's probably all they'll tell you to do anyway.

I haven't seen a GM on for the last 3-4 days I have played. Still like 15 in the referral queue.
Your position in the queue does not matter. You could be number 36, and if a GM is online that can't do any of the other ones, they'll pop in and do yours.
But...yeah. The instructions pop up in monsterbold. Unless they pop up a fixskill confirm confirm, have it give you a "Are you POSITIVE you already set your goals to what you want?????" third confirmation, and then a "Have you been drinking???" confirmation, I have no clue how it can be more clear.
You can try a "I just came back to the game and this is a real dealbreaker, I'll have to close my account because I just can't play my character like this," but Simu really couldn't care less. You'd think they'd want to be all over customer retention, but you'll likely just get some bullshit about their being a warning in monsterbold.

If it makes you feel any better, I fucked up my first FIXSKILLS too. I thought that after typing FIXSKILL CONFIRM, it would then bring you to the character manager or GOALS page or whatever where you could adjust your skills, and once you clicked DONE, it would migrate the changes.
That just proves you don't know how to read, Meth. ;)

I think the problem was I just didn't read at all actually.

Oh, for the record Frenus, so you know in case you decide to get a fixskill potion, drinking the potion IS the FIXSKILLS CONFIRM for it.

Actually, drinking it TWICE is ;)

Well no way I can afford a potion. I figured the only reason they could help me, is that they could see I didn't adjust any skills(maybe 3 ranks of ambush I removed 3 weeks ago). Oh well we'll see.
I believe the queue recalculates with whomever is online at the time right? That's why somtimes I'm 8 and sometimes I'm 5.

That's right, but you can still get visited when you're 5 if the GM can't solve the problem for #1-4

No, I'm talking like, actually having the potion go down your text-based throat is. Yes, using the drink verb twice is, technically.

I messed up a fix-skills when I came back after a hiatus. I assisted and even though it was obvious no skills had been changed at all, I was told that they're unable to grant a new fixskills. Hope you have better luck, but if I were you, I'd be trying to migrate what I could while you're waiting to hear back.

A lot depends on the GM, some are dicks and twist policy into meaning, "F' the players, its their own damn fault in some way, some how" and proceed to find some reason (usually a completely cracked out non-since-icle one) to say no. Others will actually be really cool about it and actually try to help you out even if it means they have to bash heads w/ the GM's in the first list.

Here's an example, where Emeradan was useless, and another GM was awesome:

Same thing happened to me, I assisted, the person who talked to me told me there was nothing to be done. I wasn't doing that many skill changes either, I was just trying to use it before the new one was issued out.

I have to ask my self once more, what the F' are SGM's doing let Em interact w/ players?!?!?!?!?!?! seriously. Takes his stapler away and kick his ass into the basement!
