View Full Version : Pick the post Emeradan pulled.

Without looking for the thread(s), which one of these posts was pulled?

1. What's the consensus on an entry into that world? I'm definitely looking to increase my RP opportunities and that's really what drives me to this decision.

Are there enough players in XXXX to make for pretty regular interactions? Are there certain classes that lack in numbers over there? I'm sure I'll end up with more questions, but I'm initially looking for some honest feedback from XXXX subscribers.

2. Consensus? None. To avoid an argument, allow me to put it this way: for the most part, most XXXX people will tell you that it's better than the moon and stars combined, a few will be more cynical, and people like me will say that XXXX's always been a bad idea.

3. I'd imagine more helpful input or advice for one who intends to try XXXX might be had from people who actually PLAY XXXX as opposed to those who choose to disparage it from without.

4. You, sir, are a nitwit and a moron on this issue.

all 4 and this is why.

Post 1) asking for honest imput from the player base is detrimental to the illusion that Simutronics actually cares about A) its products and B) its subscribers. There for, to post an open ended question about what people honestly believe as apose to kissing some GM's ass and adding further BS that either of the two above are in fact true, and all is well and good in the world of Elanthia where fluffy bunnies hop in happy multitude and rainbows dot the sky is against official policy.

Post 2) obviously the implication that cynical behavior exists in regard to GS, or that anyone actually does not agree 100% that Emeradan is actually doing a good job as moderator, and is not a complete waste of air. Or that Andraste is in fact not a self absorbed attention whore who thinks she know everything that there is to know about RP and as such should continue to be allowed to tell others that their RP of THIER character is incorrect. As well as demanding that they make X, Y, Z changes to their activates and interactions, and should anyone disagrees, they are wrong, and there for should be banned/locked out from game is against policy.

Post 3) Help is not what the official boards are there for, they are to further push propaganda that would have you selling your organs for cash to pay overly inflated subscription prices for a game that has become nothing more then a tedious, jaw grinding, eye bleeding effort, and smile while doing so. There for your attempt to request actually assistance to possibly find some glimmer of enjoyment whilst playing GS is admirable if not foolish, but was none the less against policy as was your blatent attempt to point out such, so there for was pulled.

Post 4) Comments made in regard to GM staff that point out that they are not G-d's of the ether and do not have the greatest of all E-peens are prohibited on the official boards.

Hope that helps.

I read the post from Grendeg before it was pulled (#4).

It was not directed at staff, it was his opinion of a person who voted Yes on Prop 8 in CA.

Em has gotten very heavy-handed in Socializing recently, it started with "McBush" and "Obama bin Laden" comments.

I have mixed feelings about Em's handling of the matter, it seems a flaming vs. freedom of speech subject (always subjective).

Basically if it makes Emeradan feel better about himself, he'll pull the post. Even if it just says, "Hi guys!"

Proxy, I have to say, catagorically, that is the funniest post I have seen in a week and I about hurt myself laughing at it. It was so funny I nearly spewed hot pizza goodness laughing, but I managed to contain myself enough to finish the bite and then laugh heartly to tears at the rest of the post. DMAN that was funny! Thank you! I needed it!

That was pretty gosh darn funny.

Far funnier than reality.

The correct answer is #3 (and #4 after the post was made).

Speaking of ass kissers from the officials, who is Drizzt-12? I don't think I've ever seen him post where his lips weren't planted squarely on some GM's ass.

Everyone knows Emeradan wishes he was born in China.

I'm fairly certain said person reads the PC, and so if he chooses to reply, he will.

But I'm pretty sure said person does post negative reaction to GM decisions, having read them a couple of times. He just posts them in a non-causistic manner.

It's funny, but people REALLY can't tell the difference between not raging against things and wholly supportive them on the officials. You can disagree with a hundred things the GMs say, but if you don't write them in a particular way (YOU ARE SO STUPID! YOU JUST HATE US!), they never get registered as complaints.

How do you live with yourself being so much smarter and better than everyone else? I can read and comprehend as well as you can. I just don't recall ever seeing said person ever disagreeing with a GM and I've seen him defend them on things that made no sense at all.

It's Gaflion. I'm embarassed that I remember posting names and player characters.

Hey CT, I remember when you got in a fight with Celtar in the solhaven folder because somebody spikethorned him for sassing off. I'm pretty embarrassed about the odd things I remember.

Along the same vein, I've seen people disagree with gms over random bullshit that made no sense at all. It's pretty damn amusing to me.

The officials have much less value than even the PC. Why bother unless you are selling something? We also tend to eventually collect the biggest idiots on there and you actually respond back to them on the PC.

EMERADAN DOESN'T CARE ABOUT DARK ELVES :'(

It makes me sad to think they put him in charge of DE's at one point even though he, himself, said that much. Or was that lolthwyn? Either way they both share the above point of view. Tells you a a lot about how much for-thought/concern goes into game assignments.

I keep half hoping they put Istild in charge of Sorcery just for the sake of me being able to, once again, say I told you so.

PS: Remember Emeradan may be among greatest piece of biological, chemical, and radioactive waste history has ever spat out of the likes of Emslies crack, but you know he secretly gets off on the point-to-fact observations of his douche bag status. So I am left to wonder why we keep doing him favors and posting things he’s only going to jack off to while pretending to drink JD which is actually just Kool-Aid his mom brought down to him in the basement.

I don't think Emeradan has ever been in charge of anything but the officials.

I'm pretty embarrassed about the odd things I remember.Holy crap that was a long time ago. Yeah my rogue's husband spikethorned him for being an asshole, and for some reason I got dragged into the fight because I was on my husband's side. Then again after that I got into forum fights with Celtar on a regular basis. He drove me insane.
