I've had this cloak forever. It was a rare gift given from some event 6+ years ago. I personally had it altered, deepened & lightened to weightlessness.

Give me a good reason to part with it.

a battle-worn hooded leather cloak

Show: Although having seen many fierce battles, this cloak still remains mostly intact with only a few scars to show. The collar is latched together by many solid metal straps.

Shoulder worn. Deepened (from 60 or 70 capacity to 80). Lightened to weightlessness ( < 1 lb). Open/closes with script.

Script examples:
>pull cloak
You pull the hood of the cloak over your head
>push cloak
You push the hood of the cloak back off your head.
>tap cloak
You pat at the folds of your hooded leather cloak, absentmindedly looking for something.
>open cloak
You throw back the edge of your hooded leather cloak over your shoulder.
>close cloak
You wrap your hooded leather cloak tightly around yourself to keep out the cold.

There are 16 more actions. Have fun discovering them.

I also have a matching miner's pack that was altered and I believe deepened.

a battle-worn black leather pack

Show: Although battered and scorched, this rugged leather pack has withstood the test of time and the trials of many wars. The numerous flaps are secured by thick solid metal bands with the main flap tied with a small leather loop.

Holds very large amount. Weighs 9 lbs.

Open pack script: You push the loop holding the clasp of your black leather pack closed and fold the cover pack to reveal the contents.

Close pack script: You pull the cover of your black leather pack closed and push the clasp through the tiny leather loop to secure it.

Selling the pack together with the cloak.

Current bid: 6m ($54) - Private bidder

I will also accept payment in the form of PayPal @ $9 per million. PM or post below to bid.

Ooh, pick me. Gimme gimme gimme.

Also I just got back and haven't got nearly enough silvers, but would you accept bids in the form of paypal at the goin' rate for silvers? I think it's around 8 or 9 bucks per mil.

You're lucky to get 3mil for both, or at least I think so.

Last I checked consolation cloaks would sell for what, like 2mil...Toss in a 1mil maybe for the alter....The pack weighs a shit ton, and there is easier, cheaper backworn VLA containers to be had.

Eh, was going for ~3.5 million like four years ago unaltered. Figured it would appreciate some since then.

The pack is an alter pretty much. Just tossing it in because it matches and I don't want it without the cloak.

Hehe. I bought like 15 people's consolation tokens off that airship and sold the cloaks for 18 mil apiece right after. (Yeah. I know. I was a dick as a kid)

Gimme a few to figure out some stuff, and I'll probably put a bid in.

3m sounds about right.

Those cloaks were pretty light to begin with, and did not hold much (60-80 lbs?)

They were 2lbs I believe, this one is singing at < 1 lb. (The lighten came with the deepen).

They held 60 or 70.

EDIT: Cloak was deepened to hold 80 lbs

I could've sworn they used to go for around 4-6m. I was just saying in my sales thread that I hadn't seen one pop up in quite a while. They started at less than 2lbs. They've got more scripts than most other cloaks and are pretty light. There was someone scratching around for one desperately a few months ago.

definitely can get more than a measly 2 mill.

I picked one up off of playershops about 2 years ago for 1m. Guy had a shit ton of cloaks in his shop with different zests and it seems this was not the most popular so he lowered the price.

I remember when the cloaks were selling 15 to 18m, of course I was a newbie and busted broke at that time. That was on the Jugg when it made its trip to the landing if I remember right. I think Ganalon was in his 20's at that time. Sheesh.

Just checked my PM's. I bought a vruul-skin deepened one of these for 3 mil in April. I also have a black leather one I bought, but can't remember how much I paid for it. I know it wasn't over 3 million.

They were going for 2 mil, after they came out with all these other scripted cloaks at different events the price was whatever someone would pay for it. Its the original highly-scripted cloak, lightened, deepened. *shrug*. I enjoyed mine. Good rp piece before everybody had a scripted cloak, still nice.

Do you need an open hand to open/close them?

I looks neat and I don't have a cloak right now.

Put me down for 3 mil.

I may still put a bid in, but for anyone hesitant because of the weight of the pack, keep in mind the cloak weighs next to nothing, so it evens out to two very light containers with lots of scripts.

5.5 please...

Durfin, looks like you and I might be the only ones interested, and you have about 80 times as much silver as I do, so I'm just bidding my max that I'm willing to spend on this. If you beat it, I'm out. :)

Haha, not trying to poke fun at you, but isn't that how auctions usually work? One person bids up to the max they're willing to spend, and then if someone outbids them, they win?

Also, I probably won't be puttin' a bid in at this point. I haven't got the silvers, and 6 mil worth of 'em at 9 bucks per just isn't worth spendin' to me. Good luck to ya both.

You are underestimating the power of Ebon Gate to empty my coffers.

Durfin respectfully yields to HSB's higher bid.

When will this item sell? Last update was three days ago, and I'm sure I can find other uses for the coins if need be.

I respectfully withdraw my bid. Five days with no word is too long, and these silvers won't spend themselves.

So, does this mean that my 4 mil bid stands, or does it drop back down to the pre-HSB bidding of 3mil?

A bid was made for $54 (6m). Sorry, was out of town and unable to update.
