I've got a 25lb slab of golvern....I've been toying with the idea of selling out some chunks, but not sure what kind of price to ask of anyone. I'v heard anywhere from 500k to 1.2mil a pound.
I'm not 100% sure I'll break up my slab, but I'd like to know what to exepct to charge if I do go that route.
So, any ideas on a solid price range?

I'd say, honestly, you are looking at about 20mil if you sold it out right. The slab gen was a bit more stingy this year than last.

10m is a little more accurate.

The thing is, people charge 1m or so per pound when making weapons out of Golvern, but selling Golvern by itself isn't the same. The 1m/pound price for forged weapons is counting all the labor and time spent mastering forging. If you happened to be a master at the forge, you could get 1m/pound (albeit slowly) as orders came in for weapons, but if you were to sell it to a forger, that forger would probably be willing to pay 400-600k/pound, so 10-15m is probably the price range, 10 being the norm, and 15m being a pretty high price.

Thanks for the responses. Now I have an idea of what to expect.
It took me a year to sell 80 pounds of golvern at 1m per pound, advertised on my website so everyone knew I offered the service.
I paid about 400k per pound for that golvern though, which is what I'd buy when buying it in bulk wholesale.
Yes yes, nice profit margin for year.
However.. I'm not doing it anymore, the profit margin has been shot a little bit by the release of golvern weapons in the treasure system.
