It's like NASCAR. I played on a softball team with a guy (who's pretty much a jerk, but that doesn't matter right now) who swore up and down that if you tuned into all that was going on, NASCAR was exciting. Usually after he got about 5 beers in him. Anyway, it's the same with baseball. It's all about tuning in. I've never gotten how people can say watching baseball is boring. Now basketball, sure. I'm not sure if its the loving glances shared between the pitcher and catcher, the never ending jock itch the catcher always has (watch him! Just before each pitch he scratches himself!), the way the Umpire looks like his is strainging a well baked crap when he calls a strike, or the way they have an obsession with slapping eachothers asses..Just something about it turns me off.
