Just found 190 5.56 x 45mm boxed if someone local wants to make an offer as well.

*And a box of 50 Speer Golddot .357 sig 125gr GDHP. One of my carry rounds and they mean bidness. I've seen boxes of 20 go for $20+ but I'll sell this box of 50 for $25.

Ammo only to be sold to locals (in Florida)

Well to plink with... .22LR is fine and the ammo is cheap.

I may be able to get you a ruger 10/22 for fairly cheap and you can use that 25 round magazine with as well (not at the range tho).

If you want something with a little more ooomf then .22 is not for you.

Just narrow it down because I still have all my connections.

*small caliber cheap ammo or otherwise?
Semi-auto? Bolt action? Level action?

No sorry I've got some .32 and .25 pocket revolvers laying around with original cartridge boxes in storage but that's not what you're looking for.

If I had the money I'd get back into gun dealing. I had a blast.

Anyways someone please buy my shit so I can have some more money. kthx

Lever action is sweet, I have a couple weapons but my Dad is holding on to them at his house now since I am deploying all the time. My favorite is an old Weatherby Mark XXII, my uncle gave it to me when I was growing up. It's a classic.

I just refurbished a marlin 30/30 and sold it. I sold it for $300 but I put some custom work in it.

I bought it off a shelf of throw aways for $50 bucks. *(it was not in working condition atm)

I just bought it as a toy since my sister worked at sports authority back when she was in college and I picked one up on her discount for like $109. Not to mention it only costs me $.25 to unload a mag.

Was cheap and fun. Had a video of me unloading a 50 round drum into a dead deer we found in the woods but lost that sadly.

I'm not sure I could buy a .22LR unless it was really cheap, it's just such a dinky gun. My problem is I know a decent bit about shotguns but jackshit about rifles, as far as pricing, good brands, etc.

If you don't want a 22 and are looking for more power on the cheap but a quality weapon get an SKS.

If you want real cheap but a good round get a Moison Nagant M38 or M44. Fires the 7.62x54R round. The rifles can be picked up just about anywhere for under a 100 bucks. The rounds are cheap too.

Edit: In my humble opinion the Ruger 1022 should be a staple for every American Boy.

I was looking for an SKS a while back but it's a pain in the ass to buy guns online and the local gunshop had one but it was beat to hell.

Sean of the Thread

I got lucky and my SKS rocks out of the box. That being said there are 1000 aftermarket mods available for one if you want to butcher it. Rounds are fairly cheap as well and will drop a moose. 7.62 x39

^LOL yeap yeap, my buddy has a huge property and we set up a range with various firing positions. Several of us own "ivans", that's what we call our M38s. Got some great pics of muzzle flash at night from the trench.

Its really just a cool toy for me but i love my sks with folding stock and scope. like 10 bucks for a box of 20 rounds so its not that bad on the wallet. Speaking of shotguns bought me a fairly decent sidebyside coachgun made by stoeger fun as hell to pull both triggers and watch that bad boy tear a hole in space/time.

Ugh I'm jealous of my father in laws collection of mausers. He has about 150 of them. K98's are sweet and he's even got a sweet authentic sniper k98. Even has leather scope covers.

I hate him btw.

Let's raid his stash.

We can use mats and spotting scopes but no shooting jackets.

Slings are permissible. And like I said iron sights only.

*oh and it will be timed with one of the rounds being rapid fire.

I don't have an SKS but I've got a 1911 Springfield, I've only put 4 rounds through it though. I'd much prefer my CZ550. This would a fun get together regardless of the stipulations.

Sean of the Thread
11-04-2008, 09:09 PM
Only stipulations is old school service rifle in stock condition with iron sights. Up to the shooter if it's it bolt or semi.

1911 Springfield would be my choice. CZ's are cheating as far as rifles go. Fine rifles... notice I didn't say pistols.

M60s are being replaced by the 240G, but yeah there are still a lot of M60s in service and I love that weapon. M16 variants are going to around for a long time. MK19 is a piece of shit. It's a maintence nightmare and very unreliable. Give me a 50 over a MK19 anyday.

MK19 was my favorite weapon to shoot, that thing is just an erection with a trigger.

I don't have a pic of my Springfield at the range yet and I'm too lazy to get it out of the safe but here's the 550.

My CZ550 - custom kevlar stock, comp trigger, that scope in the picture is gone I've got the twin of the scope that's on the CZ750 below now:

Here's a fun one, my dad put a purple forged aluminum stock on a Savage 12VSS:
