Computer help plz :(

My computer is being crazy. The display drivers aren't working, but when I try to reinstall them, the computer restarts right before it finishes booting. I tried doing the stuff in safe mode, but that didn't work. Currently I'm in 800x600 resolution, with 4 bit color, and it sucks.

See if you can download the drivers from the manufacturer's site. Maybe they are corrupted.

Tried that too, no luck.

Maybe the graphics card is bad, or the slot it's in. Try moving it to another slot. I'm not sure if you have a spare card, but try replacing it.

I don't think it's the AGP, it's a nVidia GeForce4, and it's never had any problems before.

Also, in safe mode, the color is fine.

Try reinstalling windows. No reformatting or anything, just reinstalling it.

Open window. Insert computer. The higher the better.

Sometimes also, if it is a motherboard not installed by the manufaccturer and you actually get a driver/motherboard disk, that will allow your monitor to be viewed at its full potential. Most motherboards purchased individually will come with them.
