It looks like only certain containers can be used as locksmithing tool pouches? I bought a satchel (which actually has "tool satchel" in the description) and I can't seem to bundle with a pouch to move all of the cotton balls and everything into it. Is there some way to find out which work or should all containers work (making this a bug)?

Only lockpicking pouchs can hold the disarming components like that. But you can have any other container with lockpicks in it, then put the store bought disarming kit inside the satchel, and I am pretty sure as long as the lockpick container is open, it will use the disarming tools still.

Well, I've bought some kits from playershops before which seem to be custom yet still allow the extra tools to be bundled in.
You are correct, though, about pulling from a pouch inside another container. Just tested. Thanks.

Those were most likely still merchant bought, they have some that are worn in other areas besides the belt.
I know of ankle, and wrist worn disarming kits. And you can alter any of them if you wanted.
The toolkit that I have also holds my picks and calipers as well as 100 counts of the components (cotton, putty, needle, etc.)

Whereinhell do you buy disarming kits to start with? I played a rogue long ago but can't remember where I bought mine.

Any lockpicking NPC around the towns will have them. I don't recall if the rogue guild shops carry them or not.

Don't you need backroom access though? I can't remember now.

No, anyone can buy them at any locksmith.

I think I have an extra 100 count toolkit that also holds picks and calipers if you want it.
Let me know.

Oh no I'm good. I have about two or three full toolkits in my lockpick kit. Thanks though. I was just curious about the access. :)

All of the toolkits sold in the locksmith shop hold 100 counts of consumables, and you can bundle in 10 vials (any of the vial traps) for disarming plated. You can also keep a couple of lockpicks in there if you actually wear it on your belt. I prefer to put it in an open container and keep lockpicks/calipers/wedges in that container.
They cost around 300 silvers and the locksmith and can be altered.
