Okay so in November I'm going to Omaha, Nebraska but I'm trying to find a flight but it seems that every single one of them requires me to change planes and in between those planes it's pretty much all a 10 hour wait to go on the next flight.

I'm really stressing, so if someone could help me out, that would be fantastic. Thanks.

Help you out with what? Finding a non-stop flight? That's kinda difficult with out a lot of information assuming that's what you're looking for. Budget, dates, where you're leaving from in Cali, time, etc. are all factors.

I imagine airlines are tripping over themselves trying to find more directs from Costa Mesa to Omaha.

Alright. Well I'm leaving from the Sacramento airport on November 21st at 8pm or later and returning from the Omaha airport on the 29th of November and perferable be back after 6pm. Budget isn't too much of an issue. Perferably non-stop, I just don't want those crazy waiting hours in between.

They're right. To Nebraska you're probably SOL, but your best bet is to go to those airline booking sites that bring 'em all together, like Priceline or whatever. You'll at least be able to get a list of all the flights from all the airlines and see which has the shortest layover. Don't actually BUY your ticket from this place though. Find the flight you want and go to the airline's website and buy the ticket there. You won't pay the booking site's huge stupid fee.

Well, from what it looks like I guess I'll have to miss one day of my internship. I don't see any flights at night.

Thank you for your help guys.

Anytime. Good luck.

Also why are you going to Nebraska for an internship? What are you studying to become a lumberjack or something?

Hahaha nooo! I'm going to Nebraska to see my best friend. He's stationed in Nebraska. My internship is here in California.

You're flying to Nebraska to get laid?

You have an incredibly small timeframe, odd airports, and it's over Thanksgiving. Chances of getting exactly what you want are unlikely.

Try flying out of a different airport. Try flying in to Des Moines (2 hour drive) or KC (2 1/2 hour drive) - both easy, fast, all Interstate drives. Try flying on different days.

Or just don't go to Nebraska.

Ooh, I hadn't thought of that.

Miss I, Florida is much nicer than Nebraska this time of year, and I bet you wouldn't even have to layover. I know a place you can stay for "free", too.

Flying out of one of the larger California airports would really help your cause.
