So i been playing Full Tilt texas hold'um tourneys.. Just got into the real money stuff tonight.. placed 3 times, and finished first in this tourney..

Scored, first royal flush EVER!!

Dealer: Rathmond has 15 seconds left to act

Dealer: Rathmond wins the side pot (386) with a Royal Flush
Dealer: Greggyd29 shows a flush, Ace high
Dealer: Rathmond wins the main pot (8,820) with a Royal Flush
Dealer: Greggyd29 finishes in 15th place
Dealer: mauihowie33 finishes in 14th place

Okay although the guy I knew that was nicknamed Puffy was only 6' and about 200 He used to be a good bit shorter and about the same weight when he got the nickname. He was fine with it just dont call him a bitch he got a bit uptight about that.

PS- If you google up "puffy", make sure you have safe search on. WTF is up with all the puffy nipples? I love me some nipples, but fuck, some of them were just plain gross... like they needed to be popped.

Agree. A royal flush is a rarity. I've only ever seen one while playing (and learned that the Taj gives you 50 bucks in comps and a free buffet ticket for getting one). Playing it right is even more rare. Let's see the whole play.

i got k10 of spades.. bet 4x BB.. was called by 1 guy going all in, another guy called him, i went over the top all in.. floped the Ks Qs As.. pwnd them all.

Such a waste of a good hand. You went all in pre-flop with K10 suited? What the fuck kind of stakes were you playing that you were willing to play roulette in poker?

Edited to add:

Unless you were in a tournament low on chips with blinds rising, that's a horrible, horrible play.

* Additionally, it would sort of depend on how much more calling all in would be. If it was less than your initial bet, the initial bet was way too high to begin with, and if it was more, well, it would depend on how much more, the size of your stack, the size of the stacks of the others at the table, their play style, your reads, their betting styles, a large number of things really. In most situations though what you did is a terrible idea.

Never ever ever risk your entire stack, especially on poor odds, and ESPECIALLY preflop.

Fucking horrible play depending on wha the all ins were worth. If you bet 4x the BB on K10spades and had two callers with one being all in...you should have laid down. But you're a dipshit.

Depends on the type of game. If we're talking tournament play I might put myself on less than equal footing in some cases, but in a cash game you'd probably just end up getting very bored with me and then not playing hands at all with me in 'em. I generally don't play a hand unless I have the dead nuts, know exactly what you have, or know generally what you have and know exactly how hard to push to get you out.

I've sat at a cash table for so many hours before that when I left the casino I didn't know what day of the week it was and haven't been worried a bit about being bored. I keep track of time by which servers are on shift.

I prefer tourney but anything works for me.

Ah, then you and I would probably get along well at the table.

My standard sit is 20-22 hours at a table, then crash in my room and do it again the next day.

btw i wa the chip leader.. .. Pre flop bet i put was 400 <BB was 100> dude went in with 1800 chips, another dude wit 2300.. i had 12k or so in chips.. put them both AI and smoked them.. Third king even came in the river, if i ddnt hit my royal. ;)
