PvE or PvP? Here are some good PvP builds:
FROST:
7/0/54

17/0/44 (because deep freeze is meh with no damage and a global cooldown when used offensively)

Swap Brain Freeze for Imp Water Elemental if you want, but I'm not sold on Imp WE. The extra duration mainly seems good for PvE, because it doesn't add enough to the duration to give WE freeze time to cool down again for a third use, and the mana regen probably won't make a difference in most pvp fights. Plus Deep Freeze being on the global cooldown means smart players will trinket (or dispel or whatever) out of Frost Nova before the GCD is up, making you unable to cast deep freeze. Nova > Imp CS > Shatter Combo is still more effective vs. good casters most of the time. But with Shattered Barrier and Fingers of Frost, you'll still get plenty of opportunities to use Deep Freeze. Just don't expect to run in, Nova > Deep Freeze > Shatter combo against competent players. I'd still recommend 7/0/54 over this build, but it depends on your playstyle I guess. Imp CS never sucks.
FIRE
LUL
ARCANE
56/5/0

You'll cast nothing but instants with this build, except for occasionally winding up a fireball to open your AP PoM Combo with, when you actually have time to get a 3.5s cast off. Typically your cycle will be Arcane Barrage > Fireblast > Arcane Barrage > Ice Lance, repeat. Imp Fireblast will always be ready to go again by the time it cycles back around. And keep your target slowed of course.

I'm about to try this build out in a few, because I somehow missed the part in the Missile Barrage tooltip that said Arcane Barrage could also trigger the Arcane Missiles effect. Only thing I'll probably miss (and probably not that much) is fireblast not always being quite ready at the end of the cycle like in the previous build, but I think the Arcane Missile procs will be worth it. 5 missiles in 2.5 seconds with Arcane Empowerment should be full of win.
As for PvE builds, I haven't messed with any yet. While these builds will likely cause Tamral to remind you how you're not the l33t3st raid nerd in the world like him, they still do pretty good in PvE.
Also be sure to get a Glyph of Blink and a Glyph of Evocation for PvP. They rock. Blink glyph makes you go 25 yards instead of 20, and Evocation glyph makes you regen 60% of your HP in addition to the 60% mana you get with it.

I just tried a 58/3 arcane build (and I fucked up on a couple on accident so it's not exactly what I wanted pieced together) and holy fuck I'm impressed.
I think I'll go arcane with some tweaks including put 2 in the imp fire blast. Arcane is now a beast.

Actually I tweaked it slightly so you can still have Imp Fireblast and all that. Dropped Arcane Shielding and Arcane Fortitude, freeing up 5 points for Imp Fire Blast and Incineration.
