a black steel scepter tasseled with streamers of cocoa silk

You raise your steel scepter, causing its cascading streamers to flow in a silken arc.

Value please.

Not a whole lot, honestly. The potency of Tangle/Killer Weed is based a lot on range ranks. You'd have trouble dragging anything like-level down, even in optimal (Outdoor, Forest) room conditions is my guess.

That being said, I'm sure someone wants it just because it's not normally available. 750k or so would be my valuation.

I just went out and did some testing with this against some like level opponents.

It was dragging the like level things down every round. If something was over my head, it was dragging them down 4/5 times. I also tried it from offensive, and it drags stuff down and does damage from 15-25. Does that mean its using my MIU as ranger ranks or something? Change the value at all?

What is your characters class and level?

All I can say is that as a capped ranger, I get less than optimal drag downs on like and slightly higher level foes.

With a capped cleric, I've had no trouble at all dragging down Ithzir and snag war griffins out of the sky at a good rate. I have a macro and tangleweed scroll on my cleric at all times because of how effective it is.

Is dragging war griffins out of the sky a good thing? Looks like I better hold on to this thing. It should be pretty easy to recharge as well.

A very good thing - a grounded war griffin can't drop your character on their head.

War griffins are cake. Just let them attack once and bust their ass with a weapon or something like kneebash...down they go.
