Hi. I originally posted asking for a good price to move silvers quickly, and got some response. I also got a PM from gsauctions within hours, but later learned my 'I don't have hundreds of millions to sell' was misinterpretted as 'I have hundreds of millions to sell'.
So i've been playing PM tag for about a week or so, and was told I could sell there for $7 a mil, soooo... I thought great, and wanted to do that, but didn't hear any reply. I made an account there, and put in the request there. It said i'd hear from someone within 24 hours. 57 minutes later, I got a "Is this the guy from PC?" mail, which I replied to an hour later.
And time, time, time, time passes(20 hours). So I send out another mail. All i'm hearing is crickets and I have no idea why, so, here I am.
Selling 20 million, in two 10 mil blocks, though I suppose I could do 5 mil blocks if someone wanted to buy less. I'm paypal verified and would like the purchaser to be also.
$8 per million, PM here if you want to buy a few relatively cheap silvers.Looking to move somewhat quick, because i'm hungry and the car's thirsty, and it doesn't look like i'd be able to sell my character if I tried.
That's all.
Actually, no it isn't. My money's on Teras, but if you don't feel like coming out here, or waiting for me to boat back, and you want to pay the chronomages my 100k fee, I could deliver it anywhere. I prefer to ship to teras/landing/icemule/solhaven though. I don't mind shipping to riverhaven, but there's fees for the boat there also.

We never recieved a reply to the 'Is this the PC Guy" I was asking that since you said I quoted you that but never said who you were, in any case good luck with your sale.

I actually replied about 1 hour later. Then when I didn't hear anything the rest of the day, sent another reply around midnight or so. When I popped in this afternoon and still saw an empty inbox, I figured I wouldn't be hearing anything else. Good luck seems like something i'll need as nobody seems to want to buy silvers anyway. I guess I can shave a dollar off it each week until someone takes it, but i'd sure rather have it in my hands by next friday.
Maybe it was because when I hit reply it got sent to sergey instead of sales@gsauctions? I don't know. If posting here wasn't too big of a deal breaker and you still want to buy mine, i'm still looking for someone to take them off my hands.

Any more information available? I'm just curious because it was under an hour after I put in the request when I got the first message, and less than an hour later when I replied about it.
10 hours later, i've been checking back every once in a while, but haven't heard anything else about it. So.... any more info for me?

Yup, that's me. Thought you wanted the request to go through gsauctions just so there's a record of it or something. I managed to scrape up another million since then, so I figured I might as well sell it all.

I had a mildly short but insightful reply typed up here and swore I posted, but apparently not.
All in all, it said for someone who just registered here and is trying to set a good reputation for himself so that he may sell items in the present and future, you are doing a rather bad/odd job of doing so. Key here to selling and having trusting customers is public image, and right now it doesn't seem to be a good one with the stuff you say and the attitude you convey.
Think on it...

Well try and see things from my side for a bit. I'm trying to move some items before the end of the month, as I need the money. I spent much, careful time asking around for a good price to put them up for, and when I found it, I tried to sell.
Again, from my point of view, someone was interested and contacted me, I tried to contact them back, but to no avail. I then went through the gsauctions site, and the little thing said someone would be in contact with me within 24 hours. Almost immediately (58 minutes) I get a letter asking if me there is me here, to which I apply in the affirmative.
Then I get no reply. I wait a day or so, send another letter, and again, get no reply. If you were me, what conclusions would you draw? I thought maybe what I wanted to sell wasn't very high priority, since it was so little, so I came here to try and sell.
But then he says he never got my message, so I looked through my e-mail and saw that the autoreply came from sales@, and when I hit reply, it had gone to sergey@. One logical conclusion, was perhaps he thought he was on a different e-mail when he sent me that letter, and thus he didn't get my replies because he wasn't looking on that account for them.
How exactly is that a bad job of selling? Like I said, i'm trying to move it somewhat quickly, and at the same time, trying to get to the bottom of the situation. Try and see this from another's point of view. I've tried to see it from yours, but I honestly don't see what you see.

1) He contacted you within 24 hours
2) If you are so pressed for time and need to sell fast, maybe you can learn from this and better budget your finances so you aren't in a pinch.
3)Mis-communications can and will often occur. Things happen in real life as well and may not go the way YOU want them to. I know I've had people say "Ok I'll send you payment for X item now"....Only to get payment sent like 2 days AFTER they said it.
I'm not saying your method of selling is a bad job, I'm just saying the way you are coming off in your post can be taken that way by others with the whole email contact bit and "misinterpreting" sentence as well.
Most times, new people like yourself will find selling things don't just happen instantly, you need to build up that trust as a new member.

And this kind of blows my mind. I'm selling my entire fortune, saved up over more than a decade. I honestly don't plan on selling repeatedly, as I can't play the markets and rake in millions per day like some fortunate individuals.
That's why I spent so much time trying to figure out a good price to sell them for, and yet i'm seeing people sell tons more silvers, for more than me, and it's selling instantly.:wtf:
What exactly am I supposed to do, or what exactly do you suggest I do (Since you're the only person to have taken any interest in this, even if it isn't from a customer standpoint), in order to get this happening? Every piece of advice i've tried to follow, from "set the price $1 below others" to "just go with gsauctions, because it's safer, faster, and only costs $1 less in the end" has ended in failure.
P.S. I know it's easy to talk about budgeting and the like and it kind of makes me look irresponsible, but without boring you on the details of my life, there's a trip to florida coming up the start of november.
I've got until then to come up with some personal money, or I simply don't get to go. I also haven't been on vacation in a good 9 years, so I really think I deserved this. The rest of my budget is always fixed. Costs don't go up or down, neither do resources, but entertainment isn't a factor and I have to find money for that on my own.

Dude, you're being unnecessarily hard on him. So maybe he shouldn't have mentioned GSAuctions in his first post. I will agree there was no point in it. But he's not doing anything else to make anyone think he's untrustworthy or unprofessional.
I think you just want to be a twat. ;)

I have been on a dry spell lately :(
I don't really mean to come out harsh on him, so I think it may seem a little overboard on assuming that. All in all, I guess it's dumb to even bother talking about now since it's over and he's looking to sell his coin at 8per.

For what it's worth, the miscommunication has been settled. Also, maybe I am a little verbose, and I tend to volunteer information I maybe shouldn't. Call it a character flaw if you want.
So, no more silver to sell until I score+sell a fixstat potion. I heard those go for 30-40 million, so that'd be nice to have.
