Yep, my vacation is over, I'm back, so suck it up!

Anyway, I was watching late night (super early) television with some people the other weekend. Who comes up? This televangelist called "Creflo Dollar", yes, that was his name.

Seriously, wtf?! After some research I find out that this tool is actually ridiculously wealthy and people donate to him. I mean, maybe it's just me, but I just couldn't take him seriously with that name and donate money.

Hi, Arkans.

We discussed this tool along with some others in the religious tool box some time ago on the boards. He was one of six televangelists being investigated by the feds regarding their finances or something along those lines. I'm probably a bit off on what they were investigating, but I do remember he was one of them.

A friend of mine is one of his zombies.

She's completely out of her mind, recovered addict to many things, who got a vibe from God one day that told her Creflo needed her.

She sends money to him, yet cannot support the children she's had.

I'm not blaming him, I blame her.
I'm just very glad to hear he's being investigated.

I've seen him a couple times years ago and I'm not surprised he's under investigation. He was all about preaching how God will make you rich if you just give money to good causes. Naturally, right after the message, they went on about giving to his own ministry.

I totally agree with you, just remembed this scam artist was discussed at one point or another. How can you ever forget a name like Crefo Dollar. It may as well be Pimpin' For Jesus or Pulpit Pimp. If this guy wasn't selling Jesus he'd be selling crack.

Lots of interesting information available on him and his church.

Pictures of his house are quite nice. And the rolls he was given by his congregation is pretty swank too.
