Reworking Training - Please help.

Alright, i want to rework surglas trianing so hes more aimed 100% towards spell hunting, surgla was original made for enchanting so i need to know how many times to train in the following skills:

I need to know about these skills if i need to train 1x, 1.5x or 2x:

Arcane Sysmbols:
Magic Item Use:
Harness Power:
Elemental Mana Control:

You've been hunting him. Have you really had any trouble? From your Coning posts, it really didn't seem like it. You know better than any of us what your hunting style requires. Tweak however you feel necessary based upon what you already know.

I figured htis because isnt MIU only good for wands and enchanting? I dont use wands and i dont really enchant, and arcane symbols is for scolls right? Isnt 1x sufficiant?

Well, i need bigger CS, more mana, and a lil bigger bolt AS....what i plan to do by makeing harness and elemental mana 2x, is more mana bigger mana pulses, and im takeing out my elemental lore as low as i can, and adding 5 ranks to minor elemental, and 1 to major elemental, but i just wasnt positive how import MIU and Arcane sysmbols are to me.

You could 2x Lores too. Remember though, you get more stave DS the more magic skills you train in, and MIU and Symbols are your cheapest skills. Harness Power 2x is fine, and if you really want more CS, the question is either tripling, or getting more MnE spells to beef up your Targetting CS bonus. However, 1.5x Control and Harness Power should be all the mana you need really, and it will free up some points for other skills, such as Lores. I'd not recommend going lower than 1x in that skill.

I don't see you having any problems with the above, depending on how your other training is.
