I enjoy the show for entertainment value, but there's rarely any credible scientific basis for their findings, what little there are. The chick annoys the shit out of me. She gets freaked out no matter where they are and demands to be taken back to their base camp. You're gonna go out in the damn jungle in the middle of the night. You know this before you got on the airplane. WHAT THE FUCK IS SHE DOING OUT THERE?

Aside from that though I find the banter between the members fairly comical at times, which leads back to the entertainment value of the show and why I watch it.

I've got my magic box recording it and I'll watch it later. You can never count on them to find anything. I'm not sure in however long the series has run that they ever really came up with some definitive proof of something they were looking for.

I've resigned myself to the fact that the show is MADE entirely for entertainment value as opposed to scientific. I'd enjoy it a lot more if they actually researched a thing (which they tend to do fairly well anyway), then went and looked for it, but stayed more than maybe four or five hours before moving on to the next futile search. TAPS will go into a place and if they're getting a lot of positive results, stay an extra night or two or make a return trip.

Destination Truth seems more interested in just showcasing all sorts of magical myths that may or may not exist, which is fine I suppose. My preferred way would undoubtedly cause a ratings drop and probably a cancellation.
