Do you wash your hands after visiting the bathroom?

I do indeed, regardless of whether or not I piss on myself. That happens sometimes. This thing just goes wild occasionally. I think I played with it too much..or not enough. I forget how it works.

I always at least rinse, and normally wash with soap. Beyond just the nagging feeling of touching hands with someone who just touched their junk, there are SOOOOO many things you touch throughout the day, door handles, keys, money etc. You should just take those normal/easy/quick opportunities around a sink to wash your hands, and keep them clean.

I very rarely get sick, and I like to think part of that is my cleanliness.

My last job had tons of people who didn't wash after the bathroom visits, and/or were always sick. You just have to wash after seeing that everywhere.

My big issue is that I wash my hands, but I rarely dry them on the way out. Growing up it bugged the crap out of my sister every time she'd go to open the bathroom door and the knob was wet.

Now I do it on purpose whenever she's around.

How can you walk around with your hands dripping wet? That's crazy.

Or were you so used to other things dripping off your hands, it didn't bother you? <zing>

Haha. No I formed a habit of wiping my hands off on my jeans, but I rarely did it until after I was out of the room. I'm from Jersey. People there are always on the move!

Also semen.

Hm, always had to dry them a conventional way. Though you saying that about your pants reminds me of a kid I grew up with. His mother baby sat my sister and I when we were kids.

This boy would sneeze.. snot all over the place, and pull up his shirt sleeve or collar, whichever was least dirty, and wipe his face. So disgusting.

Gross.

I won't wipe my hands on my pants if I'm even wearing something it'll show on, like slacks. Pretty much just jeans.

Usually I like to lick my hands clean after I piss.

That's less impressive than if you were limber enough to go no hands with good aim and then lick your penis clean after you piss.

I'll try that in about 20 minutes.

along those lines...you touch so much stuff throughout the day, why don't you wash your hands before you piss AND after?

i don't (only after) but I'm just saying.

I have washed before but don't usually. Just walking in I guess you have the illusion they are clean. Walking out you have the expectation of washing. Was always taught to do it. For whatever reason.

Given the fact that I visit multiple customer sites, desks, labs, etc daily I'm in the habit of washing my hands often. When I go to the bathroom, after lunch, after I leave their work areas, after I leave a lab, I wash my hands and hit the hand sanitizer.

I know I'm clean, it's the other people I don't trust.

I wash my hands before and after most of the time.

What grosses me out is when I see someone come out of the stalls w/o washing their hands.

i've called people out before, especially some of the douches in my office: "Hey, wait, this sink works. Go ahead, I'm done here."

shitting and not washing is just foul.

For a good time take one of those brownies you get out of the vending machine into the can. Hide it in your pocket, sit on the crapper, wait for someone else to come in, take the brownie out of the wrap and shape it in your hand like a turd and then roll it out under the stall.

If I'm at home, do my bix with the door open, then wash and dry my hands.

In public ... do my biz, wash/dry my hands and use the paper towel to open the door if it's a pull from my side.

why stop there? why not just lob it over the top? then make explosion noises and run out of the bathroom while giggling insanely

Me too.

When I had moved offices, one of the girls said, "If you're going to bring in candy to share, make sure they are individually wrapped ones. Some people don't wash their hands in the bathroom." And then about two other people told me the same thing. Ick.

I worked in food service for way too many years, and teach a food safety class - I wash my hands after using the bathroom, when I get in to work, when I leave, before eating, after breaks... There is just way too much disgusting crap in a Serv Safe book to ignore.

Get the mens room in your office redecorated. I recommend this, to encourage hand-washing.

Wash them before peeing. Not after.

Wash them before and after poo'ing.

I also shower twice a day.
