well i go back and forth about this game.. i have played it damn since way before it was out of aol.. i remember that damn war rat.. he killed me so many times when i was a noob..(well still am) but ya.. id always attack him at the town gates :)

anyways.. looking for a new play type..

well just not really what i want..

what do some of the experts feel is a good Long bow train.. i like all my spells i have right now.. and lock picking is nice for some quick coin.. but its been a while and i tend to.. harm myself alot haha.. :club:

My current build at level 34 is a TWC/Ranged rogue with no picking and spells. I'm loving it since I can prolong my hunt and experience some variety, too. Ranged is really handy when it comes to encumberance (since it doesn't affect your RT) so when I get loaded down, I switch to my crossbow and start sniping. I have no patience for picking and usually just tip the nearest locksmith for their services (or sometimes straight to Larton). Spells are nice...though mine's a physical build with only the minimum number of Arcan symbols for broken lands, MIU enough to activate haste through spell shield, and harness power for signs. All in all, a build I quite enjoy at the moment.

Right now it looks like you have no spells. Are you saying that 0 is the number of spells that you like to have? If you want to use spells in the field, the best option is probably to drop to 35 ranks armor and wear brig.

As far as bow use:
Strength decreases RT (surge of strength cman is therefor useful), perception and ambush are very important, obviously. Other than that, the skills should be obvious (i.e. train in ranged weapons). I have a bow user close to level 15 that I almost never play so I'll defer to any experts here.

From there it's really just a matter of fluff. How much do you care about lockpicking vs pickpocketing, etc. I'd certainly shave some climb/swim ranks. I have 35 climb and do well climbing up the mountain in Icemule (in MBP). Other than that it is entirely dependent upon what else you want to have going for you.
