I love my damn Cowboys, but sometimes they piss me off.
I just was able to catch the 2nd half of the game, and it was the first time I have been able to watch football so far this season here in Iraq, and damnit... just damnit...

Cowboys for Lions WR Roy Williams (http://www.sportingnews.com/yourturn/viewtopic.php?t=471911)
Dallas Cowboys owner/GM Jerry Jones brought some positive news into a tumultuous week, completing a blockbuster trade for Detroit Lions wide receiver Roy Williams.
Williams caught 17 passes for 232 yards and a touchdown in five games this season, pushing his five-year totals to 262 catches, 3,884 yards and 29 touchdowns after being taken with the No. 7-overall pick in the first round of the 2004 draft.
Dallas will send its 2009 first-, third- and sixth-round picks to Detroit and receive Williams and the Lions' seventh-round pick in the '09 draft.
The Cowboys have had injury problems at receiver, with Sam Hurd undergoing ankle surgery Tuesday that could end his season and Miles Austin sustaining a knee injury in camp that he has since returned from.
Williams' arrival pushes starter Patrick Crayton down a notch on the depth chart and gives the Cowboys a big-time threat opposite All-Pro Terrell Owens.
With the Lions, Williams expressed a desire to return to his home state, having been a standout at Odessa Permian High -- the famed school from Friday Night Lights - and the Univ. of Texas.
His contract will expire at season's end. Williams has a $3.7 million base salary, and the Cowboys will try to work out a contract extension. Failing that, the club could use the franchise tag to bring back Williams, 27.
Crayton has 19 catches for 291 yards and two touchdowns through six games, while Miles Austin, the next man up on the depth chart, has eight catches for 186 yards and three touchdowns in five games.
The Cowboys will have to navigate the next four weeks without quarterback Tony Romo, shelved with a broken pinky on his throwing hand.

Damn they must be desperate to win this year. I don't even think Dallas needs another WR. Its not like their WR core is bad. Im sure T.O. is pissed. Man, think of the upcoming drama!
Detroit made out.
Go Dolphins.

T.O started off pretty good but he has been letting his cry baby crap and bitching/whining get the best of him. To bad since the guy really does have talent if he could only get over himself.
I think they did need another WR, Grayton isn't stepping up to the plate like he needs to. My personal favorites on the team are Witten and Barber.

The cowboys need Corners, they can stop the run decently, they have a good offense, but they can't stop a pass to save their lives....
It's cool though, we'll win another ring eventually!

I have no love for the Cowboys. I've always been a Steelers fan. However, the Cowboys have a tremendous amount of talent this season especially. They just aren't really using it to its full potential, and crybabies like T.O. only hurt the situation. He's a great player, but a terrible influence for morale. That's why the Eagles didn't shed any tears when he left, nor the 49ers.
They need to dump his stupid ass out on the street so he can go bouncing around the NFL some more. He just isn't worth it. I'm not saying that he's the cause of all their troubles, but he certainly isn't helping them go anywhere.
They've got a good bunch of individual players. I just think they lack the team spirit to win.

And his O-Line should love him, half of them are probably sleeping with Jessica Simpson's hot ass friends.

Good post Neff, i have noticed a distinct *discord* among the players in the last few weeks. They do have a ton of talent and it makes you smack your head on the remote watching them some days.
T.O needs to go along with little PacAss.

Rofl I was a Bills fan growing up young and we fucked with Miami fans... mostly snowballs. Then I moved to Clearwater and got a job at the big sombrero and became a Bucs fan.
P.s. everyone hates miami except ignot and drew. They're dumb. Drew is dumber than Ignot however.

I hated the whole Kelley.Thurman/era. So I picked the team Buffalo took great lengths to try and razz. One year they had a "bring your fish to such and such place and a huge blender just before the Bfl Miami game LOL
I did however make a TOn of money off the Dallas/Bfl superbowl games...Bills fans weren't too bright LOL

They'll beat St. Louis this week. Probably split the next 2 and be 6-3 going into their bye. Finish up the season 10-6, make the playoffs and lose in the first round. Wade Phillips will be fired and Garret will be named coach.
I think that about covers it.

I hope you are right about Waddles being fired, I put him on par with Swizzlehead when he let them go on a mexican vacation days before the playoffs.
With Romo out for 4-6 weeks I do not see much in their next few games.

They might not make the playoffs at 10-6 the way some of the NFC teams are playing. If they don't make the playoffs, you can say adios to Phillips the next day.

I dunno. 10-6 seems like it might end up being a pretty respectable record to me. A lot of the teams considered "the best" have already taken key upset losses, and there are a whole lot of teams right on the edge of being decent. Unless the Giants have some sort of freak accident and don't take the NFC East though I think the Cowboys are definitely playing for the wildcard. If that's the case, I think 10-6 might have a half decent chance. It'll be a real close battle between a large number of teams though I think.

The way the NFC South is playing, you might not even get a wildcard from that division.
Jus saying.
