I am an LSU fan, and I was going to go to the game, but my younger brother (who goes to UF) didn't pull through till the last minute, plus I hate sitting in the UF section wearing my LSU crap.

I think it will be a close one, coming down to the wire as usual. Being in UF definetly helps UF, being at night I think helps LSU <shrug>.

If LSU can contain Harvin then I think they win. if UF stops Charles Scot, UF will win.

If LSU's QB Jarret Lee comes out and plays like he did in the 2nd half vs Auburn, LSU wins.

If Tebow plays like he did last year, UF wins.

I just noticed your post. It wasn't really a bet, it was a prediction.

LSU was way over rated.

RichardCranium

I really thought that with the talent they have, the quarterback situation wouldn't matter. I was wrong. They aren't over-rated though. I like our chances with Georgia and Alabama ( speaking of over-rated ) at home. I figure we'll see Florida again in the SEC CG.

Drew

LSU got blown out, guess it just shows you can't win without a QB. I guess they should have let Ryan Perriloux keep raping girls, at least he could throw the ball (sort of).

Rofl you guys are pricks.

But sorta right ...here are the teams I have a hard on for in order.

When a #3 team gets ass raped by a #11 team.. they are indeed over rated. With #1, 3 and 4 teams getting beaten this weekend, watch for Alabama to now be the biggest over rated teams out there.

That's some stupid ass logic right there. LSU will get their rematch with Florida in Atlanta. We'll see what happens then.

I blame Perriloux.

You both would have a point if it was a close, low scoring game. But it wasn't. UF scored 51 points on them. LSU was overrated at #3.. much like UF was under rated at #11.

Now that UF is #5 and LSU is #13... the rankings are back in Zen and everything is well with the world.

I find it amusing that RC was all over me for being a homer.

RichardCranium
10-13-2008, 09:53 PM
LSU has the trophies to back up my talk. OSU has shit. It ain't being a homer if it's true, despite what you and Xye think. We'll see how the rest of the season plays out.

Skeeter
10-13-2008, 11:28 PM
You're right. OSU has never won a national championship.

I could give a shit how over-rated the SEC is this year, I'm laughing more at your homerism than anything else. Especially since you ripped me for it constantly last year.

Yea.. because that trophy back from 1935 was the real difference maker this year...

Just stop living in the past. You sound like the Giants who got their asses kicked last night. I wonder how much their Superbowl Trophy from last year helped them out this year......

for a top team in america, you should expect them to win every game

and when they do lose, you expect them to lose in a close game

not wtfpwned in every aspect.

It was hypothetical. LSU was a 2 loss champion last year. Shit's changed. Undefeated season's are the exception now, not the rule.

UF had a good game... they've also had bad games this year. I completely acknowledge LSU's sucky quarterbacking situation. I hope the UF loss fires them up for Alabama.

Well I just came back from a funeral for one of my fathers original law partners. They're all a bunch of Gators and the firm owns a sky box at UF. We thought he died from cancer (all recently went to a goodbye party presumably from his reoccurring cancer) but turns out, he choked on some food in the sky box watching the LSU game, was rushed to Shands, was brain dead and died Monday. At least he died winning.
