As part of my ongoing transformation into a reclusive weirdo (as well as an attempt to actually get a use out of my consoles aside from expensive doorstops), I'm looking for suggestions for video games for the following systems. Games I already have are in parentheses.

Nintendo Wii (Zelda, Mario Kart, Mario Universe)
Nintendo DS (FFIV, FFIII, FFTA2)
PS3 (Oblivion, Tiger Woods, Madden, Assassin's Creed, MGS4, GTAIV)
PSP (FFT)
X-Box 360 (Fable, Halo 3, Halo 2)

Call of Duty 4 is a lot of fun for the PS3. The single player game is kind of short but the multiplayer is a ton of fun.

This weekend I went back and picked up COD3 since it was on sale for like 20 bucks. It's fun so far.

Pick up Uncharted Drake's Fortune for the PS3. Also get Ratchet and Clank: Tools of Destruction. Those are easily top 5 games for the PS3 and you can probably find them for pretty cheap right now.

I'm playing Silent Hill Homecoming right now on PS3. Scaring the shit out of me, it's great.

One peice of advice, DONT waste your health potions. It's better to die and come back with 1/2 health and try again than to use a health drink, you'll thank me later.

You can basically find the best games, generally, by checking the top scores of any console on Metacritic, accounting for taste in genres.

For the 360, I'd recommend.. Braid, BioShock, Mass Effect, Lumines! Live, Geometry Wars 1/2, Call of Duty 4 and maybe Halo 3.

For PS3, I'd recommend Uncharted and Warhawk.

For the Wii.. I'd recommend Trauma Center, Boom Blox (Steven Spielburg's game), Mario Galaxy and No More Heroes.

For the DS.. I'd recommend The World Ends With You.

Dude, you're Viet. You've got Jew-like workplace efficiency with a little bit less social knack, but still. You'll work your way back to the top.

I dunno if you have the Shivering Isles expansion for Oblivion (it has to be available for the PS3, right?) but holy shit: You can learn to re-re-appreciate a game.

Shadow hide you, beeotches.

Also if you like NG for the first next generation consoles, you will frickin' love NG2. If not, you'll wonder why DOA is stuck in 3rd person permanent adventure mode.

And, without a doubt, BioShock. But play your game on at least normal, whether or not you're trying to unlock a gamerscore. Playing BioShock on easy is a bigger crime than Halo on easy. Or at least a very serious crime.

Speaking of which, even if you live in a hermitage, you should at least get a cheap copy of either DOA4 and/or SCIV (I really appreciate the SCIV suggestion, whoever recommended it, btw. Go you :heart:)

Also, Vinh, talk to me, godammit, you weird fucker.

Random comments: I'm hating Fable2. Camera action gives me a headache. Makes me want to kick the dog in the game and my dog in real life.

The camera has pissed me off and the minigames seem like they were made for GemStone players. Plus, everytime I throw the ball off of a cliff my dog doesn't jump after it. The Crucible was 102390840 less rock star orgasmic than the Arena. Too much rinse-repeat. And I have to fucking finish this shit because of my OCD.

I didn't want to say anything, but yeah: I liked the first Fable quite a bit better, with the exception of the castrated length of total gameplay. This was like finding out you couldn't play as an Elite in Halo 3.
