Question
If a non-wizard trains in 24 ranks of air lore do they receive the extra - to RT like a wizard does?

I don't think so. I am pretty sure lores only count for spells you actually cast, not activated via scroll or imbed.

They've been updating spells to factor in lore benefits but at a reduced rate. I forget if its 1/2 the ranks or whatever.

So has anyone felt like wasing a bunch of TP's on air lore for a pure/semi to test and see if they can get that extra second yet?

Shouldn't be too hard finding a mid-level bard with Air Lore. Air lore works better for bards than for most Mages.

Bump- Anyone figure out if lore bonuses apply to haste imbeddibles?

I've noticed that I only get about 35-40% of the lore benefit when using scrolls.

I read somewhere that you get .5 bonus for lores if the spell isn't native. I think the officials.

Yes. THW swinging sorcerer that has 48 ranks of air lore. Gets tonis bolt from imbeddiales (at 40 ranks) and extra 1 sec RT reduction at 48 ranks.
Verified it works, fun character to play, but definitely not the most powerful mechanically.
For major realms, lore counts as 1/2, for base realms, lore counts as 1/3
Works with both scrolls and imbeddables.
Edit: quoted the wrong post, meant to quote the one that asked if anyone has tried it.
