Possibly Returning?

So i have found the owner of Laccon, the same person that i sold him too over 2 years ago....He hasn't been played much since i sold him and has been inactive for over the last year. I've always thought about returning but i only really wanted to return if i had Laccon back. So now the question is do i really want to spend the money to get him back and pay the monthly fees of Gemstone? I mean i use to love the game and play almost everyday and only sold out because i was finacially unstable at the time.

So my question to everyone, is that is it worth the money? I know alot of things have changed over the last few years with bounty points, alchemy and i'm sure loads of other changes.... Anyone got any pros or cons that could help me out in my decesion on wether to spend the money and get him back and start playing again? Is there still a fairly big market for selling silvers for cash? Seeing as i have stated i have always thought of coming back but wanted to get Laccon back if i was to return. Thanks!

Playing GS for a month equals one night of going out. If you can afford it, it seems a reasonable thing.

Yeah, I'm cheap. Movies is 5 bucks a person, and a handle of rum is 15. It is what it is, I've got kids and can't leave so might as well enjoy it while you can.

Porcell stopped playing actively awhile ago, but was more or less a box slave for Tsin for the last few years

Ardwen pops in every now and then but hasn't played much for the last few years

How is the bounty system? and do they still do the 2x and 3x exp thingy? and one more thing, did they ever change it so when loot hunting if you under hunt now the loot is less and such?

Not sure on OTF, I don't think its changed though. Bounty systems great (easy exp and extra silver). Yes, they still do the 3x/2x exp thing once a week. Yes, they just changed the loot system. That is one of the most recent changes not only is loot worse for underhunting it can get better for up hunting. There is better loot now like TD shields and illthorn runestaves or other enhancives.

I've been gone for the better part of a year or so to concentrate on graduating from college.I was wondering about any recent changes. The most recent change I recall hearing about is the random invasions of some kind of trolls or something? Any other major changes I should know about?

Besides OTF you have the Temple of Nelemar on Teras, if you like going to the rock.
