Detailed carvings on the haft depict broken skulls leering, their teeth bared in a silent cackle. Running the length of the rolaren blade is elegant calligraphy engravings stating the tenets of the faith of Onar. The difference in the dark color of the rolaren blade and the etchings make the blade to appear to glow softly in the light. A faint aura of holy light radiates from the backsword

After a careful inspection you determine that a bone-hafted dark rolaren backsword requires skill in edged weapons to use effectively. It looks like this item has been mainly crafted out of rolaren.
