If you have a container thats at its weight/compacity limit please post it.
I have one that weighs 5 lbs holds 110 lbs Merchant told me its at its lightest and deepest.
Weight/Capacity
3 lbs/LA?
5 lbs/110 lbs VLA
6 lbs/120 lbs VLA
8 lbs/140 lbs VLA
NOTE: Limits under new system. Within the last year to be sure.

There's going to be a discrepancy between old lightened/deepened containers and what kind of capacity lightening and deepening can do under these new guidelines.
There seems to be a required amount of weight in order for it to hold higher thresholds of capacity.

Right. So recent work I mean then. From their "new" guidelines. Thats what mine is.
I have a 1 lb. VLA pack and cloak but those don't count. Trying to see what the new rules are.
Thanks

Oh. Those rat skull satchels are normally 5lbs and LA. I had a choice of either lightening to 3lbs or deepening. Won't do both on them.

98 is before these new rules I think.
but....
Weight/Capacity
3 lbs/LA?
5 lbs/110 lbs VLA
8 lbs/130 lbs VLA (in 98)?
If you've been told by a merchant its at its limit please post what you got.
Thanks

judging from your 5 lb, 110 capacity pinworn, i think they use a 1:10 ratio with VLAs. I have a 6 pound pack that holds 120 and an 8 pound pinworn that holds 140, both maximized under the current rules. 5:110, 6:120, 8:140.

So a base of 70 lbs capacity at 1 lb and 10 lbs/lb after that. Sounds right so far.

I've got a cloak that weighs 6 and holds 140. It was done under the current rules. My previous cloak, done under the current rules weighed 4 and held 125. Maybe different locations have different ratios?

I have a fair number of cloaks/containers that have been lightened and deepened, but mostly under the old guidelines. I have at least a couple that have been denied service recently.
What parameters am I looking for?

Anything that was deepened/lightened before the new rules went into effect and is now ineligible can't really tell us anything; we have no way of knowing whether those containers are at maximum or beyond it. I'd just like to see what people have gotten maxed recently, from whichever worn locations. Belnia's cloaks suggest there is variation.

Sorry to beat this to death, but when were the new limitations implemented?

Just to be sure maybe just include things lightened/deepened after Jan. 2008 and then denied later.
