If you're sober enough to spell smitty's and jamie with capital letters then you failed at your endeavors my friend.

I however blacked out today so I win by default.

Try Stella and Johnnie next time. I know, odd mix... but Jamesons is harsher.

I do like Smithwicks. Pretty smooth, and Stella sucks btw.

Sorry son, Stella sucks. Nothing compared to PBR or Yuengling or even Miller.

But I would never turn to you for taste.

Jamesons is crap, too.

I drank 28 PBRs today. I am a member of the PBRMY.

I'm not a big fan of Budweiser products to be sure but I do like their Shock Top. If you're into that kind of thing it's worth a try.

Like you've ever met a bottle you didn't like.

Jameson is nice, but I'm more of a Bushmills man, though I prefer to do my shots chilled because I'm a huge vadge.

Bushmill is fine too and so is Johnny but nothing wrong with Jameson... like you said I haven't met a bottle I don't like(1/99th truth).

And I drink my scotch and whiskey on the rocks so I suppose it's chilled. If I'm doing shots someone always gets hurt. Usually me.

Well, if it’s going to be shots... where you throw it back, give me tequila, then call me a cab.

I like to sip a spirit. Jonnie is smoky slow.

Not slammer shots but down in two or three gulps. I like that shit cold, though I haven't drank that since probably St. Pat's which was a night they were dropping like water.

There is no need to ever drink any liquor that is not on this list, no matter what the situation:

Jameson's (Neat. No damn rocks)
Guinness
Smithwicks
Harp
And for your females - Irish Mist

In that order.

Uhm Smittys is considered piss around here.

I don't get the broad support for it here on the PC. It's not terrible but it's not great and it's not cheap. (here)

Honestly, I didn't like it much until I had it fresh and on tap. Depending on where you are, I can probably tell you a bar that's got it on tap. There aren't that many. But try it that way. It's much, much better. And no, it won't be cheap. It's gotta be imported fresh, and that always costs extra.

I live in a Scottish town and it's on all the taps to be honest. But it's still not on my top 10 list and I'm an expert.

Firstly, cool because I just moved back to Florida and I'm only about 45 minutes from there up 19. It's good to know there's someplace around here with it on tap.

Secondly, I can understand if it's not your kind of beer. It does have kind of a unique bite to it that some people find unappealing. That's what Guinness is above it on my list for. :D

Haha. I'm in Weeki Wachee. I'm just from Jersey, so by law I am permitted to take to the road with reckless abandon at breakneck speeds. And definitely. I need a bit to get settled before I'm going anywhere, but going to get plastered is definitely getting put on my to do list.

Edit: I uh..spelled definitely wrong.

Shockingly enough... there are tasty beer and spirits that aren't from the British Isles... and Irish Mist is horrific. Why would you do that to those poor women?

... and my middle name is McGinnis.

I was at my bar once with a few girls, and one requested that I get her the "most girly" drink they served. Irish mist was the lightest of anything they had. Sufficed to say, I ended up drinking it and she did shots of yaeger the rest of the night.

Still, I don't mind the taste.

P.S. - The British have nnnothing to do with it.

I tend to drink a fair amount of Belgian beer. I like my rum (coconut or no) of a higher quality than Malibu.

There's only one Belgian beer I've ever liked. It was from a microbrewery though, and they only made the one batch. I just really haven't got a taste for Belgians.

Well... I don't like Stella at all... but I drink a fair amount of Hoegaarden out of the lower end Belgian stuff. I drink Tripel Karmeliet the most (it has nuns on it to appease the Irish in yah!) at the bar I drink at frequently though.

When the law school pays for open bars I drink a fair amount of various things blended with Bacardi Anejo. Whiskey wise I tend to go for Jameson's... but I don't have anything against Jack or Crown if it comes to it.

And we're actually taking the kids up there next week to see the MERRRRMAIDS.

So desperate to drink alcohol that you settle for garbage.
And regardless of who currently owns Budweiser, it has always been shit beer.

Bud is better than bathtub gin. IMHO anyway.

You do realize that you chiding me about this whole thing is hilarious?

Maybe it’s cultural. Please, take this in good humor.

There are more people around the world, including the Queen, who drink the stuff more than we do.

I’m not to pissed that some Eurogarbage beer company bought the actual product. It’s crap. But it is a smart move all things considered.

Probably, ha.

I hate most beer though, to be fair. Stella just isn't in the short list of beer I can tolerate and certainly isn't even in the shorter list of beer I actually like.

Yay hard alcohol, especially Jack.
