Best Order to Enchant - Pad - Lighten

Been lookin around for some info on fixin up my armor. I've finally got ahold some armor that I like and plan to have it further enchanted and padded and hopefully lightened.

From the PP notes I read looks like enchanting padded armor is more costly so obviously enchant first. But what about lightening?

Also, are there limits on items that have shows/loresongs and such? Would these prevent being able to have any of this done?

There is a limit to how much you can lighten armor. Each time you run it through the ringer, it will lose roughly 10% of it's weight (rounding down). So if it is a 20lb set of armor, you only lose 2lbs per lightening.

Lightening is a flat cost for PPs, so 600 each and every time you can. Loresong will reveal it's exact weight, not the WEIGH verb.

And yes, enchant first, then pad.
