Is there a listing somewhere of all the "known" formulas that have been deduced for the game? I know that there is a well tested version of CS out there and such, has anyone got them all in one spot?

Also, did anyone inherit Gib's work on Spellburst before he left? I don't think it was ever completed.

The Krakiipedia has a lot of stuff but I don't know about a page with just formulas. Gotta just search it for whatever ones you need. Or you could search on these forums. Or you could search on the officials.. oh wait, no you can't!

Considering I spelled Gib up with a requested spell and he burst...I doubt that work is finished

A liner equation? You just drop some slope intercept shit here?

Long story short on spellburst, at least for squares, every 3 ranks of MIU/AS/HP is 1 spell level you can wear. If you know the spell, it doesn't count. If you CAN learn the spell, it counts for half. Elemental spells appear to round up and spiritual spells appear to round down. Any group based spell doesn't count for spellburst, even if you cast it off a scroll or from an item yourself. This means that all bard spells and a lot of paladin and cleric spells (and hopefully some MnM!) don't count against you, which makes 310 pretty awesome.

However, there are some interesting anomalies. For example, it seems like some spells "cost" more than their spell level, e.g. mass blurs. Also, I am almost sure that it's based on skill bonuses, not ranks because I am up to nearly 50/50/40 in MIU/AS/HP and I don't seem to be getting the same return on investment as I did for lower ranks.

A NIR has posted that the working formula is close enough for government work which seems to jive with my experience.

To maximize the usefulness of your spellburst mix, I would suggest starting with 401, 406, and 414 and 101, 103, and 107, which are half cost and give you really good value. Also, almost every spell list has a very low level buff (slot 01-03) which would be spells like 601 (mass colors count as 601, not 611), 202, 503, 303, and 1601. Personally, I found it was pretty much a necessity for me at endgame to be able to wear 509 as well if I wanted to pick anything up so I worked that in as well. Realize that you are probably never going to be able to wear spells like 618 and 219 without dropping almost everything else you are wearing.
