I'm over the UK for a bit, and picked up a 3G modem...I gotta say it rocks to be to able to get decent speed everywhere...trains, little towns, etc.
And at $40 for 7 gigs of traffic, you can Bite me, AT&T and Apple, for the $50 you want to charge for 50 MB over the Edge network. I didn't even bother to check out their rates for 3G traffic and upgrading the current phone as I can now login to Gemstone literally anywhere.
