Because if someone that wouldn't normally want the item for sale opens the mysterious enhancive thread, they're more likely to buy the item they have no use for. DUH!

Yeah, no kidding. Same to people who are selling or looking for a single item and title their post "Selling..." or "Looking for..." If you're posting in the Wanted section of the Merchant's Market we already know you're "Looking for..." something.

It sort of like if every book that was published was titled "Book." True yet fucking impractical, irritating, inefficient, and illogical.

Same here, but the nice thing about titles is it's really easy to say "Wanted: Shield w/ ASCII GOATSE art in show"
