I was at my folks this weekend and convinced them to watch it on Sunday.

As I was trying to explain it, all I could say was, "It's a show called Hole in the Wall. And it's about people trying to fit through a hole in the wall!"

They cracked up during the show, but it's one of those shows where once is enough.

It's ridiculous. And it's worse with Americans than it was with the Japanese. I dunno why... it just is.

It makes sense in Japan with all the other crazy shit they do. But they don't take it seriously, like they know how fucked up it is, but they just have fun with it.

The US version is trying to pass itself off as a legitimate game show. And the shapes they use in the wall suck compared to the Japanese show.

And the silver jumpsuits totally don't work in America. I really have no desire to so clearly see the packages of 3 construction workers or 3 gay hairdressers. Of course, once they have (hot) women on the show, the silver suits have gotta stay.
