Defender weapons

I am trying to figure out how much this falchion I found defends. I know it is a defender weapon via a bard. I am not trained in edged. I have 7 more DS when I am holding the falchion than when holding a normal falchion BUT the defender is ora +10 and the other was just steel +0. So is my defender a
+10 +7 defender, or is the ora adding into the extra DS too?

You do actually get a slight DS boost from the enchant of your weapon. Try comparing it to an ora weapon. Just buy one of the white ora ones from the cleric shop or such.
