I need some suggestions on this mage now that it's 70. It's got some welfie epics and could waste the honor on the missing pieces if I wanted to but with the expansion coming out I don't want to go ape shit again when all your gear becomes worthless in 6 hours of playing.
I've got enough tomes and shit to get exalted with scryers for the chants and shit. Worth spending the gold on now?
She's pure frost for max AOE farming. Works really well actually. But I want to change it up now.
I don't really raid but I may be down for it now as I'm bored. Shit I don't even do dungeons with her I just farm the fuck out of shit with a quickness.
I was thinking 41/0/20 or 17/0/44 but any suggestions from the more experienced mage players would be appreciated. Some of the shit is obvious as in where enchants are needed but not sure if it's worth wasting on this close to expansion.
I'll take any help as well :)
*oops armory link would help.

Armory has to be fucking up badly, for me it's showing things like your bracers having stats of +0 dmg, crit & int.
I'll try again after more sleep or hopefully someone else can get armory to work for them.

Oh wow yeah .... I just clicked he link and it's all fucked up showing the same.
Regardless need some build help. Just looking for a different talent build other than 61 frost and maybe some ideas. She's only +611 damage which is fine for her raping solo grinds but for pvp/arena/dungeons/raids there are better options. I just need some of you smarty pants mage players to help a brother out. (with advice)
The Gear easy is mode pretty much and I can fill the non purples with BG epics tomorrow if I wanted to I just don't know if I want to waste the time/honor.

I'm only 67, so I can't give any real advice on what spec is best at 70.
Here's a good site that may help though.

Well if you wanna raid, frost is not the way to go, however for farming..frost pwns all. I was pretty gung ho with my tank...then I realized with lich king so close instead of busting my ass for more dkp and current endgame gear i'll just level something else to 70 while I wait..then replace the would be epics with something better at 80... w/e... I'm spending my badges on gems and selling the shit out of them befoer they become worthless too lol.

I'm thinking the same thing too.
I've got a locker Lock that's about 30. twink hunter that's 39 and a warrior around the same. Oh and a Pally around 20 something. My mains are 70 drood and mage.
I'm thinking of just pwning them up to 70 real fast for the expansion to add to my druid and mage and not worrying about shit. I'll be able to pick wtf I want to do then.

Check Athlor, his gear isn't the greatest but I'm pretty sure he's got a solid pvp spec that's not 61 frost.
I've never played a mage so I'm not a ton of help when it comes to their spec's but if you want some raiding builds just check some of the big raid guilds and see what their mages are doing.

10/48/3 was a common raiding spec if I remember right.

fuck it with the expansion coming I'll just keep super frost farming. It's the easiest farming I've had.
Kite ten mobs freeze em blizzard them cone them blizzard them and sometimes use the elemental.
rinse wash repeat 10 dead mobs in 60 seconds.
I'll keep leveling up the nubs to 70 before the expansion I guess and farm with the mage.
I still refuse to change my droods name. It hasn't been logged on in 8 months now.

Why would they make you change it? Hell just reference this quest http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=4866 to the GM and keep your name.

I had a pissing match with an old guild member at the mailbox in org and I called one of them a boy toucher and about 60 of their guild showed up and reported me.
Got a temp ban and they made me change me name even though there are still Lactatings our there.
I don't feel bad because I went thru the entire armory list of both of the guilds (it was split) and reported every name that was "technically" in violation and at least 25 of them had to change theirs. I'm a vengeful motherfucker.

I'd just make sure you get as close to the recommended 25-30k per toon saved up for wrath as possible.
8k for the new ring.
10k to level up professions quickly.
5-10k for new patterns to make some gold off of.
3-5k in various other consumables
