Account with 6300 PP

OK, working on cutting down the accounts I pay for. Thinking of selling this account, it has 6300 PP on it currently, and would come with like an 8 train sorc and a 5 train mage after I move 2 characters off of it. So, I am curious as to what this might bring. This would be a full account take over, password and security question and all. So, you would not have to worry about me taking your item. It isn't for sale yet, I am just feeling out the market.

Your characters or worth nothing pretty much. Those PP I figure are worth about $300. So I'd put it up for auction with a MB of $250.

One problem with this is that the potential buyer won't be able to work on anything over 3x unless they transfer a character to the account (which is silly, because anyone buying a chunk of 6300 is almost guaranteed to be using it to enchant or pad something high end). I think you're better off selling the points to someone who wants to upgrade a nice weapon/armor item and do use the points from your account with their item. Then just cancel the account.

Or find someone who wants to use the points for 10 alters on unenchanted items :P

I assume this is because of the low level characters on the account? Just cause they can't hold it right? Good point (so a transfer of an older character would have to be made).

Exactly. And transfers cost money.

$15 ain't much. Only a 3-4m if you transfer it twice back and forth. Isn't that big of a deal for people who would like the security of not handing off their item.

And you people forget that some people like to take the account and transfer a character to it to be able to get enhancives.

Aye, all good points that I had considered. First, I want to cut down accounts, second, I know a lot of people are queezy with the idea of handing over a bajillion silver item to someone they don't know to see if they can get work done on it. I will have to check the billing date and firmly decide on unloading the points. If needs be, and the billing date is far enough out, I could work with the person in question to use the points with one of my older characters before transfering them off the account. Anyways, have to decide on it and soon. Thanks for the interest and the information. And yes, I know the characters are pretty much worthless other than as mules. They are house members, though I am pretty sure I can't find their manifests and bank books in all the shuffling.

Oh, and it is an 8 train ranger, not an 8 train sorc, if that matters to anyone.
