View Full Version : ClydeR, my best guess

Latrin.

Latrin's got the church-y background, likely has the free time, and has enough creative mojo to pull it off.

What do you think?

I say no, although I have no idea who it is.

Could be.

I certainly couldn't stomach the shit Clyde seems well-informed about (or apparently spends time researching). I'd be impressed if it was someone diametrically opposed to his ideology.

Latrin's a PhD student at RPI - where is this time you think he has?

My wife is a phd candidate at ucla.

I know what kind of free time she has.

But ClydeR obviously doesn't agree with conservative/religious viewpoints and is mocking them.

That's pretty sad then :(

Women only have to take .72 hours for every hour a man takes, though, everyone knows that.

It's not me, but I will say two things: I do find certain facts ClydeR uses just as abhorrent as a non-religious person, and Keller has always been able to get my mojo going. Mrowr.

She works hard; don't get me wrong.

But she's definately watched her fair share of Law and Order reruns in the evenings.

Latrin has almost 15k in posts. He's not so shy that he needs to create an alt. He's quite good enough at creating a stir without going to those lengths.

ClydeR's botched up the spelling/capitalization of Christian + OT people and places, so no. Plus, Latrin seriously wouldn't do that.

I would guess either Tamral/oldandforgotten, ToJ, Psycos...

Or me. I have way too much free time until classes start. He/she/he-she is probably me. That'd be like the most badass dissociative disorder ever, man.

I think it’s ClydeR behind the whole thing.

Good guess though Keller, I hadn't even considered Latrin. Another good angle on that was that Latrin just quit GS so he has more free time.

I think its Stan. ( sry B )

I don't think Stan is smart enough to pull it off.

I could see it being Latrin. Since ClydeR has a tendancy to avoid the really gutteral mudslinging, much like Latrin.

Stan may come off as a little 'out there' at times, but he's certainly a bright guy.

heh, gan... guttural means throaty. Like the fricative that doesn't exist in english. Just sayin'. Nothing to say about whether the entire statement is wrong or right- no clue on that one.

Tru.

Stan may come off as a little 'out there' at times, but he's certainly a bright guy.

When I was about five or six years old, a few of my friends had wandered into a patch of poison ivy and gotten horrible welts and rashes as a result. Naturally, I was jealous, so I went into the woods and rubbed poison ivy all over my body.

Long story short: Almost eighteen years later, a few days ago, I ate ~5000mgs of fish oil, had a glass of wine -- And shart my pants. From now on, I don't pass gas when I eat ~5000mgs of fish oil. Which is going to be never again, unless I feel particularly socially inept. Hmm.

Short story long: Anything by Dickens.

I dunno; I'm dumb, but I'm not stupid. And I'm smart, but I don't know about being bright. I've got the savant autism down so-so.

I think its Stan. ( sry B )

I'd suspect me too. Just the fact that it isn't me freaks me out.

I don't believe this is true at all. Latrin almost always will respond to mud slung his way (he will bury you in splinter quotes if necessary). Not so much ClydeR.

I wasn't around when Klaive was posting. I don't know if he's got the brains to pull it off. If ClydeR is a parody -- it's well researched and executed.

Word.

Thing about ClydeR is that his posting style is EXACTLY like those IRL who espouse the same rhetoric. It's a quiet, holier-than-thou (literally) type of argument vaguely reminiscent of Walter in 'The big lebowski' saying "I'm calmer than you are, dude."

So, (if) whoever ClydeR is, bravo on the impersonation..

It was awesome to watch history in the making. I don't watch that much television, but I seriously did enjoy, as it embarrassing as it is, the entirety of the Democrat convention. Hillary really strutted her stuff and knew how to tell people to rally for a statesman, who still won't win the vote due to closet racists. The unity in that room was Biblical, I swear to God.

Are you trying to mislead people? Or was this an accidental screwup?
