Lores?

I've recently fixskilled my empath. And I'm trying to figure out what Lores she should have, that would give me the most benifit for hunting.

Personally, my empath is 1x Summoning Lore, 40 ranks of telepathy for 1110, and I'm working on 1x manipulation (I'm like 2/3rds right now).

If you want to heal, you might prefer blessing lore and transformation.

I'm doing the exact same thing with my hunting empath, just a lot lighter on the manipulation lore, since I prefer higher CS over instakills.

Did they change manipulation so you actually have to have more then 1 rank for bone shatter to work well?

It takes 13 ranks of Manipulation for the crit from 1106. I have 20 ranks in it right now, and I'm critting like everything third critter. It's pretty bad ass.

As for the summoning lore, I think I like the multi cross realm locates with 116, and the multiple strikes with 111 (I have 40 ranks, and I have hit like 15 critters in one shot. Not exactly accurate hence my screen scrolling like a mofo in a warcamp. :D)

Blessings for the scars and extra 1 AS point for..every 5 ranks was it? (Forget), but its a total waste of points imo.

I only have 5 ranks in telepathy for the extra CS cycle. That pretty much sums all of my lores.

at 100 ranks, or cap, I recommend the following distribution

65 manipulation
6 telepathy
30 transformation

if you want, you could do 45 transformation and 50 manipulation

Also 1x in both mana controls

and 1x in spiritual lore, you could either go 1x in summoning, or .5x if both summoning and blessings.

Increases the DF of the bolt part of 1110, and increases the blood regeneration from Troll's Blood.

My personal preference for spirit lore is to single in summoning to boost fire spirit, locates, herb growing, spirit servant, web bolt, group fogging and a bunch of other little neat things.

For mental lore, I've gone up to 40 ranks in manipulation to help with bone shatter, harm, empathic assault and wither, then 20 ranks in telepathy for extra CS attacks with empathic assault, and now working up on transformation.

I'm very, very happy with my configuration, but it's set up for my playing style, which is for a spellcasting hunter that is still mildly proficient in healing.

As a caster hunting empath Transformation lore isn't that great imo, I keep enough ranks to heal major wounds with 0 RT, and lower them as I gain levels. I had 20 ranks in Telepathy, going for 40 for a few reasons: extra CS cycle for 1110, more effective 1108, and the duration thingy on 1116. Then I keep enough Manip ranks to total 1x in Mental lores.

Yeah, I should have said, Blessings for 215 and 1107 was my main idea, but I was open to other ideas.

edit: Just noticed that if you're converting MTP to PTP for CM, it's cheaper to get 10 ranks of blessings lore thank 2 ranks of CM for the same AS boost. Interesting. Going to play with that a bit until I have enough points for the next CMAN rank.
