I'm attempting to make my text appear as if its above water (you know, where you can see its mirror image below it, but its not directly below its its on some sort of angle like water creats)
any ways im trieng to make this effect with no luck, anyone care to give som suggestions or advice?

Make a copy of the text layer, rotate the text, put a gradient on it as an overlay. Maybe use the smear tool if you want the water to look like it's on waves.

The only problem with rotating is that it then becomes backwards... need to flip it, not familiar with Adobe though.

Isnt there a filter out there that can just do all that for me? Heh.

Yes, Im not sure off the top of my head what filter it is, Im on the work pc, but check out flaming pear, its a group of filters for photoshop that kick, got to buy/hack/crack after like 30 days but I think the reflection filter was in that group.

You should also check out the group of filters by AlienSkin (http://www.alienskin.com/), if you're into that stuff.
