It's a sand elemental. Those who attended the Wavedancer festival had the option of doing a quest that entailed HOURS of mindless digging through sandstone walls to grab a shard with a sand elemental inside.

Yes it's like a pet. It's trainable as well. You feed it sapphires to reward it, pour liquids on it to punish it. It morphs into different colors and sits in the palm of your hand just being all sand-like.

You can train it to carve smooth stones into small trinkets, dig in loose sand for junk and send out little sandstorms. When it's untrained it will attack you, jump back into it's shard or put you in RT.

They're pretty cool when they're all trained up though.

Well, it sold for 35k out of a playershop. I won't offer moe than that since that's more than they sold for, but thanks anyway. I think I'll just wait for the next one to come around or alter one of my own.
